他們不會建造了房屋而別人來居住，不會栽種了葡萄園而別人來享用；因為我子民的壽命必像樹木的壽命，我的選民必長久享受他們雙手做工的成果。

非彼建造、他人居之、非彼樹藝、他人食之、我民之壽、猶樹之年、我所選者、恆享其功、

非我建屋、他人居之、非我栽圃、他人食之、選民之壽、比諸樹木、恆食其力。

彼所建者、他人不得居、彼所植者、他人不得食、我民之壽、必如樹之壽、我之選民、必永享己手勞碌而得者、

No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands.

They will no longer build houses only to have others live in them. They will no longer plant crops only to have others eat them. My people will live to be as old as trees. My chosen ones will enjoy for a long time the things they have worked for.

They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Unlike the past, invaders will not take their houses and confiscate their vineyards. For my people will live as long as trees, and my chosen ones will have time to enjoy their hard won gains.

They will not build and others live in them; they will not plant and others eat. For my people’s lives will be like the lifetime of a tree. My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.

義人將茂盛如棕櫚樹，興旺如黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他們被栽種在耶和華的殿中，在我們神的院宇中茂盛。他們在年老時仍然結果實，他們豐美並且青翠，

我要使他得享長壽，使他看到我的救恩。」

我必使後裔從雅各而出，使我眾山的繼承人從猶大而來；我的選民必擁有那地，我的僕人們必居住在那裡。

他向你祈求長壽，你就賜給他，就是長久的日子，永永遠遠。

你們必留下自己的名字，作我選民的詛咒詞。主耶和華必殺死你們；至於我的僕人們，我必用另外的名字稱呼他們。

這樣瑪土撒拉一生活了九百六十九年，然後他死了。

這樣亞當一生活了九百三十年，然後他死了。

這位天使把牠丟進無底坑裡，關上了無底坑，並用印封上，使牠不能再迷惑列國，直到那一千年完結。這些事以後，牠必須暫時被釋放。隨後，我看見一些座位，上面坐著人；這些人被賜予了審判的權柄。我又看見那些為耶穌做見證並為神的話語被斬首之人的靈魂，他們沒有膜拜那獸或獸像，也沒有在自己額上或手上接受那印記。他們都活了過來，並且與基督一同做王一千年。其餘死去的人還沒有活過來，直到這一千年完結。這是第一次的復活。
