He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

He will put the armor of holiness on his chest. He’ll put the helmet of salvation on his head. He’ll pay people back for the wrong things they do. He’ll wrap himself in anger as if it were a coat.

並且要接受救恩的頭盔和聖靈的寶劍——就是神的話語。

所以，你們要站立得住：用真理束上腰，穿上公義的護胸甲；

但我們既然屬於白晝，就讓我們謹慎，以信與愛做為護胸甲穿上，以救恩的盼望做為頭盔戴上。

黑夜已深，白晝近了。所以，我們要脫去黑暗的行為，配上光明的兵器。我們要行事端正，好像在白晝中那樣：不可荒宴、醉酒；不可淫亂、好色；不可紛爭、嫉妒。相反，要穿上主耶穌基督；不要為了私慾而在屬肉體的事上做任何安排。

耶和華的膀臂啊，醒來，醒來，以力量為衣！醒來吧，就像你在太初的日子、亙古的世代！從前砍碎拉哈伯、刺透海中巨獸的，難道不是你嗎？

因為我們認識曾說過「報應在我，我將回報」的那一位，他又說過「主要審判自己的子民。」

他的門徒們就想起經上記著：「我為你的殿，心火焚燒。」

公義必作他的束帶，信實必作他的腰帶。

然而我為你的殿，心火焚燒；辱罵你之人的辱罵都落在我身上。

他的政權與平安必加增無窮；他必在大衛的寶座上統管他的國，以公正和公義使國堅立穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

在真理的話語中，在神的大能中，藉著右手左手的公義兵器，

「我獨自踹酒槽，萬民中沒有一人與我在一起。我在怒氣中踹他們，在怒火中踩踏他們；他們的血水濺在我的衣服上，我把全身的衣服都染汙了；

接著，我看見天開了，看哪，有一匹白馬。騎馬的那一位被稱為「信實的」和「真實的」；他以公義去審判、去作戰。

求你從天上垂看，從你聖潔、榮耀的崇高居所觀看！你的熱心和你的大能在哪裡呢？你內心的激情和你的憐憫向我們止住了。

那與我說話的天使對我說：「你要宣告說：『萬軍之耶和華如此說：我為耶路撒冷，為錫安大發嫉妒之心。

神要在烈火中報應那些不認識神的人，以及那些不順從我們主耶穌福音的人；

耶和華啊，你是施行報應的神！施行報應的神哪，求你發出光芒！
