我必使選民、尊崇我名、知我有應許、必踐前言。

故當是日、我民必識我名、必知應許者、乃我也、我在此矣、○

Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.”

So the day will come when my people will really know the meaning of my name. They will know what kind of God I am. They will know that I told them ahead of time they would return to their land. They will know that it was I.”

Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am.”

But I will reveal my name to my people, and they will come to know its power. Then at last they will recognize that I am the one who speaks to them.”

Therefore my people will know my name; therefore they will know on that day that I am he who says,‘ Here I am.’”

主又說，那些日子以後，我將與以色列家立這樣的約，我要把我的律法放在他們腦中，寫在他們心上。我要作他們的上帝，他們要作我的子民。誰都無需再教導自己的鄰居和弟兄，說，『你要認識主。』因為他們無論尊卑都必認識我。

我從列國把他們領回，從敵國把他們召回來的時候，我要藉著他們向列國彰顯我的聖潔。我讓他們被擄到各國，將來必召集他們返回故土，不撇下一人。這樣，他們便知道我是他們的上帝耶和華。我不再掩面不顧以色列人，因為我要把我的靈澆灌在他們身上。這是主耶和華說的。』」

雖然我把他們分散到列國，他們必在遠方想起我，他們及其子女必得以倖存，並且回到故土。我必從埃及領他們回到故土，從亞述招聚他們，領他們到基列和黎巴嫩，那裡將不夠他們居住。祂必經過苦海，擊打海浪，尼羅河必乾涸，亞述的驕傲必掃地，埃及的勢力必滅沒。我必讓他們靠著我強盛，他們必奉我的名行事。這是耶和華說的。」

我的子民啊，當我這樣做的時候，你們就知道我是耶和華。我要把我的靈放在你們裡面，叫你們復活，安居在自己的土地上，那時你們就知道我耶和華言出必行。這是耶和華說的。』」

上帝啊，你秉公行義，你的名普世皆知，頌讚你的聲音響徹地極。

上帝並非世人，祂不撒謊；上帝不是凡人，祂不反悔。祂言出必行，信守承諾。

看啊，以前的預言都已應驗，我現在要宣告新的預言，把還未發生的事告訴你們。」

主耶和華說，『以色列人啊，我為了自己的名，沒有照你們的邪惡行徑懲罰你們，這樣你們便知道我是耶和華。』」

耶和華在雲中降臨和摩西一同站在那裡，宣告祂的名——耶和華。耶和華在摩西面前經過，並且宣告說：「我是耶和華，我是耶和華，是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實，向千萬人彰顯慈愛，赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。」

耶和華說：「我必叫你看見我一切的美善，我要在你面前宣告我的名——耶和華，我要恩待誰就恩待誰，我要憐憫誰就憐憫誰。

列王必做你的養父，王后必做你的褓姆。他們必向你俯伏下拜，舔你腳上的塵土。那時你便知道我是耶和華，信靠我的必不致失望。」

「我必賜福給你，使你子孫眾多。」亞伯拉罕經過耐心的等待，得到了上帝的應許。人總是指著比自己更大的起誓，並用誓言作保證，了結各樣的爭論。同樣，上帝為要向承受應許的人顯明祂的旨意絕不更改，就用誓言向他們保證。上帝絕不說謊，祂將永不改變的應許和誓言給了我們，使我們這些尋找避難所、持定擺在前面之盼望的人可以大得鼓勵。
