爾其仰觀、凡此天象、為誰所造、誰核其數、而導之出、悉呼其名、因有大能大力、無不應命、○

爾當仰觀、天象羅布、有若軍旅、上帝以巨能大力、創造星辰、呼其名、核其數、無不應命。

爾向高舉目而觀、思此諸物為誰所造、天之萬象、主核其數而攜之出、天之萬象主核其數而攜之出或作惟主使天之萬象按數而顯皆道其名、蓋以主之大能大力、無不應命也、○

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Look up toward the sky. Who created everything you see? The Lord causes the stars to come out at night one by one. He calls out each one of them by name. His power and strength are great. So none of the stars is missing.

Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.

Oh, Lord GOD! You yourself made the heavens and earth by your great power and with your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you!You show faithful love to thousands but lay the fathers’ iniquity on their sons’ laps after them, great and mighty God whose name is the LORD of Armies,the one great in counsel and powerful in action. Your eyes are on all the ways of the children of men in order to reward each person according to his ways and as the result of his actions.

Look up to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and its inhabitants will die like gnats. But my salvation will last forever, and my righteousness will never be shattered.

The heavens are yours; the earth also is yours. The world and everything in it— you founded them.North and south— you created them. Tabor and Hermon shout for joy at your name.You have a mighty arm; your hand is powerful; your right hand is lifted high.

My own hand founded the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summoned them, they stood up together.

For everything was created by him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things have been created through him and for him.He is before all things, and by him all things hold together.

This is what God, the LORD, says— who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk on it—

I form light and create darkness, I make success and create disaster; I am the LORD, who does all these things.

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.Praise him, highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens.Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he commanded, and they were created.He set them in position forever and ever; he gave an order that will never pass away.

Search and read the scroll of the LORD: Not one of them will be missing, none will be lacking its mate, because he has ordered it by my mouth, and he will gather them by his Spirit.

He counts the number of the stars; he gives names to all of them.Our Lord is great, vast in power; his understanding is infinite.

You are to say this to them:“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”He made the earth by his power, established the world by his wisdom, and spread out the heavens by his understanding.

if I have gazed at the sun when it was shining or at the moon moving in splendor,so that my heart was secretly enticed and I threw them a kiss,this would also be an iniquity deserving punishment, for I would have denied God above.

Long ago you established the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

When I observe your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you set in place,what is a human being that you remember him, a son of man that you look after him?

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands.

When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the stars in the sky— do not be led astray to bow in worship to them and serve them. The LORD your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

This is what the LORD, your Redeemer who formed you from the womb, says: I am the LORD, who made everything; who stretched out the heavens by myself; who alone spread out the earth;

So the heavens and the earth and everything in them were completed.On the seventh day God had completed his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.
