For the Lord of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up— and it shall be brought low;

必有万军耶和华降罚的一个日子，要临到骄傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降为卑；

因万军之耶和华的一个日子要临到所有骄傲狂妄的，临到一切自高的，使他们降为卑；

因万军之耶和华的一个日子要临到所有骄傲狂妄的，临到一切自高的，使他们降为卑；

因为万军之耶和华已定了日子，要惩罚一切骄傲狂妄和自高自大的人，使他们沦为卑贱；

因为万军之耶和华必有一日，要攻击一切骄傲的、狂妄的，和所有高抬自己的，他们都要降卑。

因为必有万军之耶和华的一个日子，临到所有傲慢高傲的和所有自高的，使他们成为卑贱；

必有萬軍耶和華降罰的一個日子，要臨到驕傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降為卑；

因萬軍之耶和華的一個日子要臨到所有驕傲狂妄的，臨到一切自高的，使他們降為卑；

因萬軍之耶和華的一個日子要臨到所有驕傲狂妄的，臨到一切自高的，使他們降為卑；

因為萬軍之耶和華已定了日子，要懲罰一切驕傲狂妄和自高自大的人，使他們淪為卑賤；

因為萬軍之耶和華必有一日，要攻擊一切驕傲的、狂妄的，和所有高抬自己的，他們都要降卑。

因為萬軍之永恆主必有一日要攻擊一切驕矜高傲的，一切自抬自高的；

因為必有萬軍之耶和華的一個日子，臨到所有傲慢高傲的和所有自高的，使他們成為卑賤；

蓋萬軍之耶和華、將有一日臨及驕矜者、狂傲者、自高者、降之為卑、

時日將至、萬有之主耶和華、必折驕矜者之氣、使自高者降而為卑。

時日將至、萬有之主必懲諸驕矜者、狂傲者、妄自尊大者、使之卑降、

The Lord Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted( and they will be humbled),

The Lord who rules over all has set apart a day when he will judge. He has set it apart for all those who are proud and think they are important. He has set it apart for all those who brag about themselves. All of them will be brought low.

For the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has a day of reckoning. He will punish the proud and mighty and bring down everything that is exalted.

For a day belonging to the LORD of Armies is coming against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up— it will be humbled—

For the Lord of armies will have a day of reckoning Against everyone who is arrogant and haughty, And against everyone who is lifted up, That he may be brought low.

For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up— And it shall be brought low—

For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;

For a day belonging to the Lord of Hosts is coming against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up— it will be humbled—

For the day of the LORD of hosts[ shall be] upon every[ one that is] proud and lofty, and upon every[ one that is] lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Indeed, the LORD who commands armies has planned a day of judgment, for all the high and mighty, for all who are proud– they will be humiliated;

For there will be a day of Yahweh of Armies for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low:

“ For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.

You have not gone up into the breaches, or built up a wall for the house of Israel, that it might stand in battle in the day of the Lord.

But when his heart was lifted up and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was brought down from his kingly throne, and his glory was taken from him.He was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, until he knew that the Most High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will.And you his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this,but you have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven. And the vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, but the God in whose hand is your breath, and whose are all your ways, you have not honored.“ Then from his presence the hand was sent, and this writing was inscribed.

“ Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.

Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light,

Pour out the overflowings of your anger, and look on everyone who is proud and abase him.Look on everyone who is proud and bring him low and tread down the wicked where they stand.

Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.

Wail, for the day of the Lord is near; as destruction from the Almighty it will come!

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says,“ God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him:haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

The Lord of hosts has purposed it, to defile the pompous pride of all glory, to dishonor all the honored of the earth.

Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy its sinners from it.

Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

On that day the Lord will punish the host of heaven, in heaven, and the kings of the earth, on the earth.

The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and withers; the highest people of the earth languish.

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

That day is the day of the Lord God of hosts, a day of vengeance, to avenge himself on his foes. The sword shall devour and be sated and drink its fill of their blood. For the Lord God of hosts holds a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.
