要在光禿的山頂上豎立旗幟，向戰士高呼，揮手示意他們進攻貴族居住的城。

那時，耶和華的哨聲一響，埃及的大軍必像蒼蠅一樣從遙遠的尼羅河飛撲而來，亞述的人馬必如黃蜂一樣蜂擁而至，

有耳朵的，都應當聽。」

萬民啊，你們要聽！世人啊，不論貴賤貧富，都要留心聽！

耶和華在向耶路撒冷呼喊，智者必敬畏祂的名。祂說：「聚在城裡的眾人啊，你們要聽！

大地啊，大地啊，大地啊，要聽耶和華的話！

若城中響起號角，居民豈不恐懼顫抖？若災禍降臨城中，豈不是耶和華的作為？的確，主耶和華不向祂的僕人——眾先知顯明祂的計劃，就不會採取任何行動。獅子吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？主耶和華已發言，誰能不傳講呢？

諸天啊，請聽！大地啊，要側耳聽！耶和華說：「我把孩子撫育成人，他們竟然背叛我。

聽啊，山上人聲鼎沸，像是大軍的聲音。那是列邦列國聚集呐喊的聲音。萬軍之耶和華正在召集軍隊，準備作戰。

耶和華必在他們上面顯現，祂的箭如閃電射出。主耶和華必吹響號角，乘南方的暴風而來。

從日出之地到日落之處，大能的上帝耶和華召喚世人。

群山啊，大地永固的根基啊，你們要聽耶和華的控告！因為耶和華要控告祂的子民，責備以色列人。
