Where is your king, that he may save you? Where are your rulers in all your towns, of whom you said,‘ Give me a king and princes’?

Where is your king? Wasn’t he supposed to save you? Where are the rulers in all your towns? You said,‘ Give us a king and princes.’

Now where is your king? Let him save you! Where are all the leaders of the land, the king and the officials you demanded of me?

They made kings, but not through me. They set up princes, but I knew it not. With their silver and gold they made idols for their own destruction.

and said to him,“ Behold, you are old and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now appoint for us a king to judge us like all the nations.”But the thing displeased Samuel when they said,“ Give us a king to judge us.” And Samuel prayed to the Lord.

For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our lawgiver; the Lord is our king; he will save us.

I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”

But where are your gods that you made for yourself? Let them arise, if they can save you, in your time of trouble; for as many as your cities are your gods, O Judah.

Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm!

For our shield belongs to the Lord, our king to the Holy One of Israel.

And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one.

You are my King, O God; ordain salvation for Jacob!

Yet God my King is from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

The Lord is king forever and ever; the nations perish from his land.

But I am the Lord your God from the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior.
