一个洁净的人要拿牛膝草蘸在这水中，把水弹在帐棚上，和一切器皿以及帐棚内的人身上，又要弹在那摸了骨头，或摸了被杀的或自然死的，或摸了坟墓的人身上。

祭司要把香柏木、牛膝草和朱红色纱都丢在焚烧牛的火中。

他不用山羊和牛犊的血，而是用自己的血，只一次进入至圣所就获得了永远的赎罪。

就是照父神的预知，藉着圣灵得以成圣，以致顺服耶稣基督，又蒙他血所洒的人。愿恩惠、平安多多地赐给你们！

他差派以色列的年轻人去献燔祭，又宰牛献给耶和华为平安祭。摩西将血的一半盛在盆中，另一半洒在坛上。然后，他拿起约书来，念给百姓听。他们说：“耶和华所吩咐的一切，我们都必遵行，也必听从。”摩西把血洒在百姓身上，说：“看哪！这是立约的血，是耶和华按照这一切的命令和你们立约的凭据。”摩西、亚伦、拿答、亚比户，以及以色列长老中的七十人都上去，看见了以色列的神。在他的脚下，仿佛有蓝宝石铺道，明净如天。他不把手伸在以色列领袖的身上。他们瞻仰神，又吃又喝。

他要取一些公牛的血，用手指弹在柜盖的前面，就是东面，又在柜盖的前面用手指弹血七次。“他要宰那只为百姓作赎罪祭的公山羊，把羊的血带入幔子内，把血弹在柜盖的上面和前面，好像弹公牛的血一样。因以色列人的不洁净和过犯，就是他们一切的罪，他要为圣所赎罪；因会幕在他们不洁净之中，他也要为会幕照样做。他进圣所赎罪的时候，会幕里都不准有人，直等到他为自己和家人，以及以色列全会众赎了罪出来。他出来后，要到耶和华面前的祭坛那里，为坛赎罪。他要取一些公牛的血和公山羊的血，抹在坛周围的四个翘角上。

祭司就要吩咐人为那求洁净的人带两只洁净的活鸟和香柏木、朱红色纱，以及牛膝草来。祭司要吩咐用瓦器盛清水，把第一只鸟宰在上面。至于那只活鸟，祭司要把它和香柏木、朱红色纱，以及牛膝草，一同蘸在宰于清水上的鸟血中。他要向那从麻风病中得洁净的人身上弹血七次，宣布他为洁净，然后把那活鸟在野地里放走。

他要为洁净房屋取两只鸟和香柏木、朱红色纱，以及牛膝草，用瓦器盛清水，把一只鸟宰在上面。他要把香柏木、牛膝草、朱红色纱和那一只活鸟，都蘸在被宰的鸟血和清水中，用来弹屋子七次。他要用鸟血、清水、活鸟、香柏木、牛膝草和朱红色纱洁净那房屋。

“人向耶和华献平安祭为供物，若是从羊群中献，无论是公的母的，要用没有残疾的。

并新约的中保耶稣，以及所洒的血；这血所说的信息比亚伯的血所说的更美。

“你要吩咐以色列人，对他们说：你们中间若有人要献供物给耶和华，可以从牛群羊群中献牲畜为供物。“他的供物若以牛为燔祭，要献一头没有残疾的公牛，献在会幕的门口，他就可以在耶和华面前蒙悦纳。

我必洒清水在你们身上，你们就洁净了。我要洁净你们，使你们脱离一切的污秽，弃绝一切的偶像。

他们脱了他的衣服，穿上一件朱红色的袍子，

“人的供物若以绵羊或山羊为燔祭，要献一只没有残疾的公羊。

他们给他穿上紫袍，又用荆棘编了冠冕给他戴上，

士兵用荆棘编了冠冕，戴在他头上，给他穿上紫袍，

因为公牛和山羊的血不能除罪。

要拿一把牛膝草，蘸盆里的血，把盆里的血涂在门楣上和两边的门框上。直到早晨你们谁也不可出自己家里的门。

他们戏弄完了，就给他脱了紫袍，又穿上他自己的衣服，带他出去，要把他钉十字架。

同样，他也必使许多国家惊奇，君王要向他闭口。未曾传给他们的，他们必看见；未曾听见过的事，他们要明白。

耶稣出来，戴着荆棘冠冕，穿着紫袍。彼拉多对他们说：“看哪，这个人！”

求你用牛膝草洁净我，我就干净；求你洗涤我，我就比雪更白。
