民自相爭、虐遇攘奪、至於召禍、爾何使我目睹乎、

何為使我目睹不義、人行惡作慝、人行惡作慝或作人行奸惡主何為徒觀、攘奪與兇暴恆於我前、怨隙滋生、爭端紛起、

Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds.

Why do you make me watch while people treat others so unfairly? Why do you put up with the wrong things they are doing? I have to look at death. People are harming others. They are arguing and fighting all the time.

Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise.

Must I forever see these evil deeds? Why must I watch all this misery? Wherever I look, I see destruction and violence. I am surrounded by people who love to argue and fight.

Why do you force me to look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Oppression and violence are right in front of me. Strife is ongoing, and conflict escalates.

Why do You make me see disaster, And make me look at destitution? Yes, devastation and violence are before me; Strife exists and contention arises.

Why do You show me iniquity, And cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; There is strife, and contention arises.

Why dost thou show me iniquity, and look upon perverseness? for destruction and violence are before me; and there is strife, and contention riseth up.

主歟、我在邑中、見有強暴紛爭、尚其施行翦滅、變亂其舌兮、彼在城上、晝夜遶行、中有罪孽邪慝兮、奸惡在於其中、暴虐詭譎、不離其衢兮、

禍哉我也、我如夏果已收、如採葡萄所遺、無穗可食、我心所慕初熟之無花果、亦無有也、虔敬者亡於斯土、正直者泯於人間、皆伏伺以流血、各張網羅、以獵昆弟、厥手惟惡是營、而亟行之、牧伯徇情、士師貪賄、大人言其中心之惡欲、共同組織之、其至善者、等於荊榛、其至正者、劣於棘籬、爾守望者所宣懲罰之日、今已至矣、爾必驚擾、

我每言時、則發聲呼曰、強暴毀滅、緣耶和華之言、終日受恥辱、被譏誚、

願我於野得有旅邸、則可離我民而去、以彼俱為淫亂之徒、詭詐之黨、彼彎舌如弓、以發誑言、在國中為強大、而不行信實、行惡有加無已、而不我識、耶和華言之矣、爾曹各當謹防鄰里、勿信昆弟、蓋昆弟相欺特甚、鄰里往來讒毀、各迋其鄰、不言誠實、舌習誑言、作惡致憊、耶和華曰、爾居詭詐之中、彼緣詭詐、不肯識我、○

若在州中見貧者受虐、或見強者奪公義、勿以為異、蓋有居位較高者鑒之、又有更高者在焉、

蓋此義者居其中、且見且聞、以其不法之行、日傷公義之心、

耶和華歟、敬虔者熄其跡、忠信者絕於世、尚其拯救兮、彼眾與鄰言誑、厥口諂諛、中懷貳心、

我旅於米設、寓於基達之幕、其有禍兮、憾和平者、我與之偕居已久兮、

我遣爾似羊入狼中、故當智如蛇、馴如鴿、

我見惡人利達、因嫉狂傲之人兮、彼死時無痛苦、身力強健兮、不似世人受艱苦、不似他人遘災難兮、故驕肆如鏈懸其項、暴戾如服蔽其體兮、彼體胖而目突、所得逾於心所望兮、姍笑乎人、以惡意發暴語、吐屬高狂兮、口談上天、舌遊全地、

我轉觀日下所行之虐、見受虐者流涕、慰藉無人、行虐者有權、受虐者不得慰藉、

惟爾人子、雖居荊棘蒺藜與蠍之中、勿畏之、亦勿畏其言、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏其言、勿懼其貌、
