他们回答说：“我们都做了梦，可是没有人给我们解梦。”约瑟说：“解梦的能力不是来自上帝吗？请你们把梦告诉我。”

曰、我儕得夢、無人能占、曰、占夢豈非由於上帝乎、請述於我、○

曰、我儕得夢、無人能占其兆。約瑟曰、占其兆者、由於上帝所示、請述其詳。

曰、我儕得夢、無人能解、約瑟曰、解夢非由天主乎、請述於我、

“ We both had dreams,” they answered,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

“ We both had dreams,” they answered.“ But no one can tell us what they mean.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Only God knows what dreams mean. Tell me your dreams.”

They said to him,“ We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”

And they replied,“ We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.”“ Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied.“ Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said to him,“ We have had a dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do interpretations not belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

And they said to him,“ We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and[ there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them,[ Do] not interpretations[ belong] to God? tell me[ them], I pray you.

They told him,“ We both had dreams, but there is no one to interpret them.” Joseph responded,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me.”

They said to him,“ We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

法老對約瑟說：『我作了一個夢，沒有人能給我解釋。我聽見人說到你，說你聽了夢，就曉得解釋。』約瑟回答法老說：『不在於我；是上帝要將平安的事回示法老的。』

王應時對但以理說：『千真萬確啊、你們的上帝真是萬神之神、萬主之主，機密事之啓示者，因為你能夠將這機密事啓示出來。』

只有一位在天上的上帝、他能將機密的事啓示出來；他已將日後要發生的事告訴了尼布甲尼撒王了。你的夢和你在床上在腦中所見的異象是這樣：

另有人稟受異能的效力；另有人稟受神言傳講的才能；另有人稟受辨別諸靈的能力；另有別人稟受種種的捲舌頭話；又另有人對捲舌頭話稟受解明的才能：這一切都是這獨一而同一的靈以動力所運行的；他照他的意思一樣一樣分布給各人。

是的，主永恆主若有所作為，他沒有不將其機密啓示他僕人、眾神言人的。

永恆主跟敬畏他的人親密；他使他們認識他的約。

到末了、但以理進來到我面前——照我的神的名字、但以理名叫伯提沙撒；他裏頭有聖神明之靈——我將夢告訴他說：

在你國中有一個人，他裏頭有聖神明之靈。你父在世的日子，發現這人心中有亮光、有通達，有智慧，好像神明的智慧；你父尼布甲尼撒王曾經立了他為術士及用法術的、跟迦勒底博學的人和占卜者、的領袖；都因為在他裏頭、在但以理心裏、有非常高超之靈，有知識，有通達，能講明夢的解析，能釋謎語，能解難題的結——這但以理、王又給他起名叫伯提沙撒：現在可以把但以理召來；他一定能把解析講明白。』於是但以理就被領進到王面前。王應時問但以理說：『你就是但以理麼，就是在猶大被擄的人之中、我王我父從猶大擄來的那位麼？我聽到你的事了，聽說你有聖神之靈，說你裏面有亮光，有通達，有非常高超的智慧。現在博士跟用法術的都被領到我面前，為要叫他們讀這文字，把它的解析告訴我，無奈他們都不能把這話的解析講出來。

王所問的事很難答；除了不居於血肉之軀的神明、沒有別的能在王面前說出來的。』

當世人睡在床上瞇瞇沉睡時，在夢中或夜間的異象中、上帝開啓世人的耳朵，用警告驚嚇他，

有人對你們說：『要求問那些交鬼的和行巫術的，就是那啁啾叫嗡嗡鳴的人。一族之民難道不能求問自己的神、而為活人去求問死人麼？』
