我向滅亡的人射出饑荒的惡箭，將它們射出，毀滅你們；那時，我要加重你們的饑荒，斷絕你們糧食的供應。

那时，我要将灭人、使人饥荒的恶箭，就是射去灭人的，射在你们身上，并要加增你们的饥荒，断绝你们所倚靠的粮食；

我向灭亡的人射出饥荒的恶箭，将它们射出，毁灭你们；那时，我要加重你们的饥荒，断绝你们粮食的供应。

我將降饑饉之毒矢、以行翦滅、增益饑饉、絕爾所恃之糧、

俾爾饑饉、日漸匱乏、絶爾餱糧、滅爾生命、如亡以毒矢、

我必遣饑饉之惡矢以毀爾、使爾饑饉日甚一日、絕爾所賴之糧、

When I shoot at you with my deadly and destructive arrows of famine, I will shoot to destroy you. I will bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of food.

I will shoot at you with my deadly, destroying arrows of hunger. I will shoot to kill. I will bring more and more hunger on you. I will cut off your food supply.

他又對我說：「人子，看哪，我必斷絕耶路撒冷糧食的供應。他們要帶着憂慮限量吃餅；帶着驚惶限量喝水。

「『我要把禍患堆在他們身上，我用盡我的箭射向他們：餓死人的饑荒、灼人的熱症、痛苦的災害。我要叫野獸用牙齒咬他們，叫土中爬行的用毒液害他們。

看哪，被圍困的時候，撒瑪利亞有大饑荒，甚至一個驢頭值八十舍客勒，四分之一卡布的鴿子糞值五舍客勒。

看哪，主－萬軍之耶和華要從耶路撒冷和猶大除掉眾人所倚靠的，所仰賴的，就是所倚靠的糧，所仰賴的水；

他拉弓，命我站立，當作箭靶；

他也預備了致死的兵器，他所射的是火箭。

我要斷絕你們糧食的供應，使十個女人用一個烤爐給你們烤餅，按配給的定量秤給你們。你們要吃，卻吃不飽。

你必不怕黑夜的驚駭，或是白日飛的箭，也不怕黑夜流行的瘟疫，或是午間滅人的災害。雖有千人仆倒在你旁邊，萬人仆倒在你右邊，這災卻不得臨近你。

「人子啊，若有一國犯罪干犯我，我也伸手攻擊它，斷絕他們糧食的供應，使饑荒臨到那地，將人與牲畜從其中剪除；
