Then he measured the wall of the temple; it was six cubits thick, and each side room around the temple was four cubits wide.

Then the man measured the wall of the temple. It was 11 feet thick. Each side room around the temple was seven feet wide.

他建造了樓房靠着殿的牆、圍着殿四圍的牆；對着殿堂和內殿他四圍造了廂房。廂房下層寬五肘，中層寬六肘，第三層寬七肘；因為殿的外面四圍有坎，免得梁木插入殿的牆裏。

廂房是廂房疊上廂房的：有三層，每層排列三十間。在房子的牆上、就是在三面繞着殿的廂房的牆上有坎子，以作為支座，免得以殿的牆為支座。廂樓房三面繞着殿越高越寬；因為有繞殿的臺階三面繞着殿越上越高；因此廂樓房的寬度繼續往上增加；故此人從下層經由中層以至上層。我又看見殿有高月臺三面繞着；廂樓房的根基、高足一竿，就是六大肘。屬於廂樓房的外牆、厚五肘；屬殿的廂樓房剩下的曠地也寬五肘。

對着內院那二十肘寬的隔開地的、又對着外院的鋪石地的、有樓廊對着樓廊，一共三層。在聖屋前面有一條路在裏向，寬十肘，長一百肘；其房門都向北。聖屋上層比較窄些，因為樓廊佔了它的地方、比佔了那建築物的下層中層的多。聖屋有三層，卻沒有柱子、不像外院的屋子有柱子；因此上層比下層中層和平地稍微退後。那在外面的隔牆、跟聖屋平行、朝着外院、在聖屋前面的、其長有五十肘。因為那些向着外院的聖屋、其長是五十肘；而那些沿着殿堂前面的卻是一百肘。這些聖屋以下東頭有進入處，人從外院進入裏面，就是在外面隔牆開頭的地方。南路也有聖屋：在隔開地對面，也在南邊舖石地的建築物對面：這些聖屋前面有一條路，跟北邊聖屋的路同樣式：一樣長，一樣寬；又有一樣的出口：同樣的款式，同樣的門。在南路的聖屋以下也有一個門、在外面隔牆開頭的地方，朝東，人進入時、就是從那裏進去。他對我說：『在隔開地對面的那些北屋南屋都是聖屋；親近永恆主的祭司們要在那裏喫至聖之物，在那裏存放至聖之物：就是素祭，解罪祭、和解罪責祭；因為那地方是聖的。祭司們進去，不可從聖所直接出來到外院；他們要在聖屋那裏存放他們供職時穿的衣服，因為那些衣服是聖的；他們要穿上別的衣服，才可以跟屬於人民的相接近。』
