爾民猶言、主之道不公平、惟彼之道不公平、

“ Yet your people say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just.’ But it is their way that is not just.

“ In spite of that, your people say,‘ What the Lord does isn’t fair.’ But it is what you do that is not fair.

“ Yet your people say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just,’ when it is their own way that is not just.

“ Your people are saying,‘ The Lord isn’t doing what’s right,’ but it is they who are not doing what’s right.

“‘ But your people say,“ The Lord’s way isn’t fair,” even though it is their own way that isn’t fair.

“ Yet your fellow citizens say,‘ The way of the Lord is not right,’ when it is their own way that is not right.

“ Yet the children of your people say,‘ The way of the Lord is not fair.’ But it is their way which is not fair!

Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

“ But your people say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair,’ even though it is their own way that isn’t fair.

Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

“ Yet your people say,‘ The behavior of the Lord is not right,’ when it is their behavior that is not right.

“‘ Yet the children of your people say,“ The way of the Lord is not fair;” but as for them, their way is not fair.

“ Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear, you Israelites: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust? (niv)

Yet you Israelites say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just.’ But I will judge each of you according to your own ways.” (niv)

“ Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself? (niv)

“ Do you think this is just? You say,‘ I am in the right, not God.’ (niv)

I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’“ His master replied,‘ I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? (niv)

“ Then the man who had received one bag of gold came.‘ Master,’ he said,‘ I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’“ His master replied,‘ You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? (niv)
