“ For thus says the Lord GOD:‘ The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.

「主耶和華這樣說，『巴比倫王的刀必來攻擊你。

“‘主耶和華這樣說：巴比倫王的刀必臨到你。

因為主永恆主這麼說：巴比倫王的刀必攻擊你。

主耶和華曰、巴比倫王之刃必及爾、

主耶和華曰、我必使巴比倫王、大興干戈、率列邦所畏之勁旅、以伐埃及滅其威、殺其眾、

主天主如是云、巴比倫王之刃必臨爾、

“‘ For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you.

The Lord and King says,“ I will send against you the sword of the king of Babylon.

“ For thus says the Lord God: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.

For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you.

“‘ For this is what the Lord GOD says: The sword of Babylon’s king will come against you!

For the Lord God says this:“ The sword of the king of Babylon will attack you.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

For this is what the Lord God says: The sword of Babylon’s king will come against you!

For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

“‘ For this is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ The sword of the king of Babylon will attack you.

For the Lord Yahweh says:“ The sword of the king of Babylon will come on you.

Therefore thus says the Lord God:‘ Surely I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, both the strong one and the one that was broken; and I will make the sword fall out of his hand.I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them throughout the countries.I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand; but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he will groan before him with the groanings of a mortally wounded man.Thus I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; they shall know that I am the Lord, when I put My sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he stretches it out against the land of Egypt.

The sword shall come upon Egypt, And great anguish shall be in Ethiopia, When the slain fall in Egypt, And they take away her wealth, And her foundations are broken down.

“ For thus says the Lord GOD:‘ Behold, I will bring against Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses, with chariots, and with horsemen, and an army with many people.

The daughter of Egypt shall be ashamed; She shall be delivered into the hand Of the people of the north.”The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, says:“ Behold, I will bring punishment on Amon of No, and Pharaoh and Egypt, with their gods and their kings— Pharaoh and those who trust in him.And I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and the hand of his servants. Afterward it shall be inhabited as in the days of old,” says the Lord.

The word that the Lord spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon would come and strike the land of Egypt.

and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Behold, I will send and bring Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden. And he will spread his royal pavilion over them.
