主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比倫，就是巴比倫王所在之處；因為巴比倫王立他為王，他竟輕看向王所起的誓，背棄王與他所立的約。

他轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在立他作王、巴比伦王的京都。

主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比伦，就是巴比伦王所在之处；因为巴比伦王立他为王，他竟轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。

主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比伦，就是巴比伦王所在之处；因为巴比伦王立他为王，他竟轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。

“我凭我的永恒起誓，巴比伦王立他做王，他却弃约背誓，他必死在巴比伦。

我指着我的永生起誓：他藐视了自己所起的誓，背弃了与王所立的约，因此他必死在巴比伦，就是那立他作王的巴比伦王的国家。这是耶和华的宣告。

他輕看向王所起的誓，背棄王與他所立的約。主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在立他作王、巴比倫王的京都。

主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比倫，就是巴比倫王所在之處；因為巴比倫王立他為王，他竟輕看向王所起的誓，背棄王與他所立的約。

「我憑我的永恆起誓，巴比倫王立他做王，他卻棄約背誓，他必死在巴比倫。

我指著我的永生起誓：他藐視了自己所起的誓，背棄了與王所立的約，因此他必死在巴比倫，就是那立他作王的巴比倫王的國家。這是耶和華的宣告。

主永恆主發神諭說：我指着永活的我來起誓：巴王立他做王，他竟藐視了發咒起誓的話，違反了巴王跟他所立的約；因此他一定必死在巴比倫、巴王住的地方。

彼既藐其誓、爽其約、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼必於立之為王者之都、與之同沒於巴比倫、

我耶和華指己而誓、王子既為巴比倫王所立、藐視其主、爽其盟約、則必至巴比倫而沒、

主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、巴比倫王既立彼為王、彼乃輕視誓言、背棄盟約、必死於巴比倫王之都巴比倫、

“‘ As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, he shall die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose treaty he broke.

“‘ Zedekiah will die in Babylon,’ announces the Lord and King.‘ And that is just as sure as I am alive. He will die in the land of King Nebuchadnezzar, who put him on the throne. Zedekiah didn’t keep his promise to Nebuchadnezzar and broke his treaty.

“ As I live, declares the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die.

No! For as surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, the king of Israel will die in Babylon, the land of the king who put him in power and whose treaty he disregarded and broke.

“‘ As I live— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— he will die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke.

As I live,’ declares the Lord God,‘ In the country of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, in Babylon he shall certainly die.

‘ As I live,’ says the Lord God,‘ surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke— with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

“ As I live”— this is the declaration of the Lord God—“ he will die in Babylon, in the land of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke.

[ As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place[ where] the king[ dwelleth] that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake,[ even] with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

“‘ As surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, surely in the city of the king who crowned him, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke– in the middle of Babylon he will die!

“‘ As I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh,‘ surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the middle of Babylon he will die.

我要把我的網撒在他身上，他就被我的羅網纏住。我要帶他到迦勒底人之地的巴比倫；他沒有看見那地，就死在那裏。

並且挖了西底家的眼睛，用銅鏈鎖着他，帶到巴比倫去，將他囚在監裏，直到他死的日子。

他輕看誓言，背棄盟約，看哪，雖已投降，卻又做這一切的事，他必不能逃脫。所以主耶和華如此說：我指着我的永生起誓，他既輕看我的誓言，背棄我的約，我必使這罪歸到他頭上。

「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言而背約的，我必照你所做的報應你。

人若向耶和華許願或起誓，要約束自己，就不可食言，必須照口中所出的一切話去做。

並且挖了西底家的眼睛，用銅鏈鎖住他，要帶到巴比倫去。

他眼中藐視匪類，卻尊重那敬畏耶和華的人。他發了誓，雖然自己吃虧也不更改。

大衛王召了基遍人來，跟他們說話。基遍人不是以色列人，而是亞摩利人中所剩下的人。以色列人曾向他們起誓，掃羅卻為以色列人和猶大人大發熱心，追殺他們，為了要消滅他們。

你若不肯放他們走，看哪，我必以青蛙之災擊打你的疆土。

他對我說：「這就是向全地面發出的詛咒。凡偷竊的必按書卷這面的話除滅，凡起假誓的必按書卷那面的話除滅。萬軍之耶和華說：我要把這書卷送出去，進入偷竊者的家和指着我名起假誓者的家，停留在他家裏，連房屋帶木頭和石頭都毀滅了。」

猶大王西底家必不能逃脫迦勒底人的手，定要交在巴比倫王手中，他要親眼看到巴比倫王，親口跟他說話。巴比倫王要將西底家帶到巴比倫；西底家必住在那裏，直到我懲罰他的時候。你們雖與迦勒底人爭戰，卻不順利。這是耶和華說的。』」

巴比倫王立約雅斤的叔父瑪探雅取代他作王，給瑪探雅改名叫西底家。

我們要這樣對待他們，讓他們存活，免得因我們向他們所起的誓而憤怒臨到我們。」

「不可妄稱耶和華－你上帝的名，因為妄稱耶和華名的，耶和華必不以他為無罪。

又從以色列王室後裔中選取一人，與他立約，令他發誓，又擄走國中有勢力的人，

頑梗不化的、言而無信的、無情無義的、不憐憫人的。

他們講空話，以假誓立約；因此，懲罰如苦菜滋生在田間的犁溝中。

沒有親情，抗拒和解，好說讒言，不能節制，性情兇暴，不愛良善，

你必不能逃脫他的手，定被拿住，交在他手中。你要親眼看到巴比倫王，他要親口跟你說話，你也必到巴比倫去。猶大王西底家啊，你一定要聽耶和華的話。耶和華論到你如此說：你必不死於刀下；必平安而終，人要為你焚燒，好像為你祖先，就是在你以前早先的王焚燒一樣。人要為你舉哀說：『哀哉！我主啊。』這話是我說的。這是耶和華說的。」

犯淫亂和親男色的，拐賣人口和說謊話的，並起假誓的，或是為任何違背健全教義的事訂立的。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們，施行審判。我必速速作見證，警戒那些行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、剝削雇工工錢的、欺壓孤兒寡婦的、屈枉寄居者的和不敬畏我的人。」

看哪，葡萄樹雖然栽種了，豈能發旺呢？一經東風擊打，豈不全然枯乾了嗎？它必在生長的苗圃中枯乾了。」
