Obey what I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

如我儕於主我之天主前謹守遵行此諸誡命、循其所諭我者、則可因之稱為義、及至主爾之天主導爾入所往欲得為業之地、於爾前驅逐諸國之民、即赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、此七族較爾強大者、

當日主與亞伯蘭立約曰、我以斯地賜爾後裔、自伊及河至伯拉大河、即基尼、基尼洗、甲摩尼、赫、比利洗、利乏音、亞摩利、迦南、革迦撒、耶布斯、諸族之地、

故我言必導爾出伊及、脫於其苦、至流乳與蜜之地、即迦南族赫族亞摩利族比利洗族希未族耶布斯族之地、

主爾之天主、既逐之於爾前、爾勿意謂主導我得斯地乃因我善、實因斯民之惡、主逐之於爾前、爾之得入而獲其地、非為爾之善、非為爾之正心、乃為斯民之惡、主爾之天主逐之於爾前、亦為主欲應所誓於爾祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之言、

我降臨以拯之、脫於伊及人手、導出斯土、至膏腴廣大流乳與蜜之地、即迦南族赫族亞摩利族比利洗族希未族耶布斯族所居之地、

以色列人當聽、此一切爾皆當謹守遵行、如此則可於流乳與蜜之地享福昌熾、如主爾祖之天主所許爾者、

故主爾之天主所命爾者、爾當謹守遵行、不偏於左、不偏於右、

此一切言我所命爾者、爾當聽而守之、如是、爾行善於主爾天主前、爾及子孫、可永久享福、○

聞聞原文作有我誡而守之者、即愛我、愛我者、必見愛於我父、我亦愛之、且將顯己於彼、

教之守凡我所命爾者、且我常偕爾、至於世末、阿們、

凡我所諭爾者、爾必謹守遵行、毋增毋減、

摩西申命曰、以色列人歟、我今所教爾遵守之律例法度、宜聽從、如是可生、得入爾祖之天主耶和華所賜爾之地、獲以為業、我所諭爾之言、不可增亦不可減、惟守我所諭爾主爾天主之誡命、

我今日所傳於爾主之律例誡命、爾當遵守、則爾與子孫皆可得福、亦可久居於主爾天主所賜之地、○

當追憶主爾之天主導爾出伊及時、所試之大能、所行之異跡奇事、所用之大力大威、爾目所睹者、主爾之天主亦必如是待爾所懼之諸國、

如爾聽從主爾天主之言、謹守遵行其諸誡命、即我今日所諭爾者、則主爾之天主必使爾超乎天下萬國之上、
