又有撒冷王麦基洗德带着饼和酒出来；他是至高神的祭司。

雅各对他们说：“他平安吗？”他们说：“平安。看哪，他女儿拉结和羊一起来了。”雅各说：“看哪，日正当中，不是牲畜聚集的时候。你们取水给羊喝，再去牧放吧！”他们说：“我们不能这样，必须等所有的羊群聚集，人把石头移开井口，我们才可以取水给羊喝。”雅各正和他们说话的时候，拉结和她父亲的羊来了，因为她是牧羊的。雅各看见他舅父拉班的女儿拉结和舅父拉班的羊群，就上前把石头移开井口，取水给舅父拉班的羊喝。

法老给约瑟起名叫撒发那特‧巴内亚，又将安城的祭司波提‧非拉的女儿亚西纳给他为妻。约瑟就出去治理埃及地。
