When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites— the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey— you are to observe this ceremony in this month:

The Lord will bring you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites. He promised your people of long ago that he would give that land to you. It’s a land that has plenty of milk and honey. When you get there, celebrate this holy day in this month.

And when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you shall keep this service in this month.

You must celebrate this event in this month each year after the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites.( He swore to your ancestors that he would give you this land— a land flowing with milk and honey.)

When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which he swore to your ancestors that he would give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you must carry out this ceremony in this month.

我下來、是要援救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們出那地，上美好寬闊之地，流奶與蜜之地，迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的地方。

你們過了約但河，來到耶利哥；耶利哥公民和你們交戰，亞摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人、耶布斯人、也攻擊你們；我把他們交在你們手裏。

將來你們到了永恆主按所應許而賜給你們的地，總要守這事奉禮。將來你們的兒女若問你們說：「這事奉禮對你們有甚麼意思？」

我舉手起誓應許、給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地、我必領你們進去，將那地賜給你們為基業：我永恆主。」』

『我今天所吩咐你的、你務要遵守。看吧，我要把亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、從你面前趕出去。

我曾經說：我要將你們從埃及的困苦中領出來，上迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地，流奶與蜜之地。』」

「這是因為永恆主不能把這人民領進他向他們起誓應許之地、故此在曠野把他們宰殺掉了。」

在我與你以及你以後的苗裔之間，我必堅立我的約，做世世代代永遠的約；好讓我做你和你以後的苗裔的上帝。我要將你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你以後的苗裔，做永遠的產業；我還要做他們的上帝。』

約瑟對他弟兄們說：『我快要死了；但上帝必定眷顧你們，領你們從這地上去、到他所起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地。』

『永恆主你的上帝將你所要進去趕出的列國人從你面前剪滅了以後，你已經取得了他們的地去居住了，

『永恆主發神諭說：我指着自己來起誓，你既作了這事，不留下你兒子、你獨生的兒子，我就必定大大地賜福與你，必定使你的後裔大大增多，如同天上的星，如同海邊的沙；你的後裔必佔領仇敵的城。地上萬國都必用你後裔的名來給自己祝福，因為你聽了我的聲音。』

就在那一天，永恆主就同亞伯蘭立了約說：『這地我已經給了你的後裔了：就是從埃及河直到大河、就是伯拉河、那一帶：就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、高身漢種的人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人、之地。』

「凡由埃及上來、從二十歲和以上的人、斷不得以看見我對亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許的土地，因為他們沒有滿心滿懷地跟從我。

永恆主對摩西說：『我曾向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許給你後裔、說：「這是我要給你後裔的」地：如今你要往那地去，從這裏上去，你和你從埃及地所領上來的人民都要上去。

你寄居在這地，我必與你同在，賜福與你，因為我要將這些地賜給你和你的後裔；我必實行我向你父亞伯拉罕所起的誓。

都一定不得進入我所舉手起誓叫你們居住的地；惟獨耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞才得以進去。

『將來永恆主你的上帝剪除了列國人，永恆主你的上帝將他們的地賜給你、去趕出那些人、去住他們的城市房屋，

『永恆主你的上帝領你進入你正要去而取得為業之地，從你面前肅清了許多國的人、就是赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、七國的人，都比你多、比你強；

『將來你進了永恆主你的上帝所賜給你去取得為基業而居住的地，
