昔主誓爾列祖以流乳與蜜之地賜爾、即迦南族赫族亞摩利族希未族耶布斯族之地、主導爾入斯地時、當於是月守此禮、

When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites— the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey— you are to observe this ceremony in this month:

The Lord will bring you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites. He promised your people of long ago that he would give that land to you. It’s a land that has plenty of milk and honey. When you get there, celebrate this holy day in this month.

And when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you shall keep this service in this month.

You must celebrate this event in this month each year after the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites.( He swore to your ancestors that he would give you this land— a land flowing with milk and honey.)

When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which he swore to your ancestors that he would give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you must carry out this ceremony in this month.

你們過了約旦河，來到耶利哥；耶利哥的居民與你們作戰，還有亞摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人、耶布斯人，也跟你們作戰；我把他們都交在你們手裡。

日後，你們進了耶和華應許賜給你們的那地的時候，就必須守這敬拜之禮。日後，如果你們的子孫問你們：‘你們這敬拜之禮有甚麼意思？’

我舉手起誓要給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地，我必領你們進去；我也必把那地賜給你們作產業；我是耶和華。’”

我今天吩咐你的，你務要遵守。看哪，我要把亞摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，從你面前趕逐出去。

我也曾說：“我要把你們從埃及的痛苦中領出來，到迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地去，就是到流奶與蜜之地去。”’

‘因為耶和華不能把這民領進他向他們起誓應許的地，所以在曠野把他們殺了。’

我要與你，和你世世代代的後裔，堅立我的約，成為永遠的約，使我作你和你的後裔的神。我要把你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你的後裔，作永遠的產業，我也要作他們的神。”

約瑟對他的兄弟們說：“我快要死了，但神必定眷顧你們，領你們從這地上到他起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地去。”

“耶和華你的神把你將要進去趕走的列國的民，從你的面前除滅以後，你就得著他們的地，住在那裡。

說：“耶和華說：‘我指著自己起誓，你既然作了這事，沒有留下你的兒子、你的獨生子，我必定賜福給你，必使你的後裔繁多，像天上的星，海邊的沙；你的後裔必佔領仇敵的城門。地上萬國都要因你的後裔得福，因為你聽從了我的話。’”

就在那時候，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約說：“我已經把這地賜給你的後裔了，就是從埃及河直到幼發拉底河之地；就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

‘從埃及上來二十歲及以上的人，必不得看見我對亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許的地，因為他們沒有專心跟從我。

耶和華對摩西說：“你和你從埃及地領出來的人民要離開這裡，上我曾經起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地去，我曾應許：‘我要把這地賜給你的後裔。’

你要寄居在這地，我必與你同在，必賜福給你，因為我要把這全地都賜給你和你的後裔，履行我向你父親亞伯拉罕所起的誓。

都不得進入我起誓給你們居住的那地；只有耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞才可以進去。

“耶和華你的神把列國的民剪除了，耶和華你的神把他們的地賜給了你，你趕走了那些國民，住在他們的城市和房屋以後，

“耶和華你的神領你進入你要去得為業的地，從你面前趕走許多民族，就是赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，共七個比你又大又強的民族。

“將來，你進了耶和華你的神賜給你作產業的地，佔領那地，並且住在那裡以後，
