Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people.

The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.
