Jehovah thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

耶和华你的神要从你们弟兄中间给你兴起一位先知，像我，你们要听从他。

主爾天主必於爾中、在爾同族同族原文作兄弟下同中、為爾立先知如我、爾當聽從、

The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.

Moses continued,“ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.

This is that Moses, who said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me.

Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me; to him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you.And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus,

And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No.

And they asked him, and said unto him, Why then baptizest thou, if thou art not the Christ, neither Elijah, neither the prophet?

He that heareth you heareth me; and he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth him that sent me.

And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house hath more honor than the house.For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken;but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things that were heard, lest haply we drift away from them.For if the word spoken through angels proved stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;

And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom Jehovah knew face to face,

( I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to show you the word of Jehovah: for ye were afraid because of the fire, and went not up into the mount), saying,

A light for revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of thy people Israel.
