The Lord wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

The Lord wrote on the tablets what he had written before. It was the Ten Commandments. He had announced them to you out of the fire on the mountain. It was on the day you had gathered together there. So the Lord gave the tablets to me.

And he wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

Once again the Lord wrote the Ten Commandments on the tablets and gave them to me. They were the same words the Lord had spoken to you from the heart of the fire on the day you were assembled at the foot of the mountain.

Then on the day of the assembly, the LORD wrote on the tablets what had been written previously, the Ten Commandments that he had spoken to you on the mountain from the fire. The LORD gave them to me,

Then He wrote on the tablets, like the first writing, the Ten Commandments which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me.

And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.

The LORD then wrote on the tablets the same words, the ten commandments, which he had spoken to you at the mountain from the middle of the fire at the time of that assembly, and he gave them to me.

He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.

耶和华把那两块石版交给我，是上帝用指头写成的；版上是耶和华在大会的那一天，在山上从火中对你们所说的一切话。

摩西在耶和华那里四十昼夜，不吃饭不喝水。他把这约的话，那十条诫命，写在版上。

这正如你在何烈山大会的那日向耶和华—你的上帝所求的一切，说：‘求你不要再叫我听见耶和华—我上帝的声音，也不要再叫我看见这大火，免得我死亡。’

你们不是来到那可触摸的山，那里有火焰、密云、黑暗、暴风、角声，和说话的声音；当时那些听见这声音的，都求不要再向他们说话，

耶和华在山上，从火中，面对面与你们说话。那时我站在耶和华和你们之间，要将耶和华的话传给你们，因为你们惧怕那火，没有上山。他说：“‘我是耶和华—你的上帝，曾将你从埃及地为奴之家领出来。“‘除了我以外，你不可有别的神。“‘不可为自己雕刻偶像，也不可做什么形像，仿佛上天、下地和地底下水中的百物。不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华—你的上帝是忌邪的上帝。恨我的，我必惩罚他们的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代；爱我、守我诫命的，我必向他们施慈爱，直到千代。“‘不可妄称耶和华—你上帝的名，因为妄称耶和华名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。“‘当守安息日为圣日，正如耶和华—你上帝所吩咐的。六日要劳碌做你一切的工，但第七日是向耶和华—你的上帝当守的安息日。这一日，你和你的儿女、仆婢、牛、驴、牲畜，以及你城里寄居的客旅，都不可做任何的工，使你的仆婢可以和你一样休息。你要记念你在埃及地作过奴仆，耶和华—你的上帝用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂领你从那里出来。因此，耶和华—你的上帝吩咐你守安息日。“‘当孝敬父母，正如耶和华—你上帝所吩咐的，使你得福，并使你的日子在耶和华—你上帝所赐给你的地上得以长久。“‘不可杀人。“‘不可奸淫。“‘不可偷盗。“‘不可做假见证陷害你的邻舍。“‘不可贪恋你邻舍的妻子；也不可贪图你邻舍的房屋、田地、仆婢、牛驴，以及他一切所有的。’“这些话是耶和华在山上，从火焰、密云、幽暗中，大声吩咐你们全会众的，再没有加添别的话了。他把这些话写在两块石版上，交给我。山被火焰烧着，你们听见从黑暗中发出的声音，那时，你们各支派的领袖和长老都挨近我。你们说：‘看哪，耶和华—我们的上帝将他的荣耀和他的伟大显给我们看，我们也听见他从火中发出的声音。今日我们看到上帝与人说话，人还活着。现在这大火将要吞灭我们，我们何必死呢？若再听见耶和华我们上帝的声音，我们就必死。凡血肉之躯，有谁像我们一样，听见了永生上帝从火中讲话的声音还能活着呢？

那时，你们近前来，站在山下；山上有火燃烧，直冲天顶，并有黑暗、密云、幽暗。耶和华从火焰中对你们说话，你们听见说话的声音，只有声音，却没有看见形像。他将所吩咐你们当守的约指示你们，就是十条诫命，并将诫命写在两块石版上。那时，耶和华吩咐我将律例典章教导你们，使你们在所要过去得为业的地上遵行。”“所以，你们为自己的缘故要分外谨慎；因为耶和华在何烈山，从火中对你们说话的那日，你们没有看见任何形像。

上帝吩咐这一切的话，说：“我是耶和华—你的上帝，曾将你从埃及地为奴之家领出来。“除了我以外，你不可有别的神。“不可为自己雕刻偶像，也不可做什么形像，仿佛上天、下地和地底下水中的百物。不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华—你的上帝是忌邪的上帝。恨我的，我必惩罚他们的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代；爱我，守我诫命的，我必向他们施慈爱，直到千代。“不可妄称耶和华—你上帝的名，因为妄称耶和华名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。“当记念安息日，守为圣日。六日要劳碌做你一切的工，但第七日是向耶和华—你的上帝当守的安息日。这一日你和你的儿女、奴仆、婢女、牲畜，以及你城里寄居的客旅，都不可做任何的工。因为六日之内，耶和华造天、地、海和其中的万物，第七日就安息了；所以耶和华赐福与安息日，定为圣日。“当孝敬父母，使你的日子在耶和华—你上帝所赐你的地上得以长久。“不可杀人。“不可奸淫。“不可偷盗。“不可做假见证陷害你的邻舍。“不可贪恋你邻舍的房屋；不可贪恋你邻舍的妻子、奴仆、婢女、牛驴，以及他一切所有的。”

摩西率领百姓出营迎见上帝，都站在山下。西奈山全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降临山上。山的烟雾上腾，仿佛烧窑，整座山剧烈震动。
