祂被逮捕，受审判，被处死。祂那个世代的人谁会想到祂受鞭打、从世上被除去是因为我百姓的过犯呢？

耶稣说：“你看见这宏伟的建筑了吗？将来它要被完全拆毁，找不到两块叠在一起的石头。”

因为有一天敌人要在你周围筑起壁垒把你团团围住，四面攻击你。他们要把你夷为平地，毁灭你城墙里的儿女，不会留下两块叠在一起的石头，因为你没有认识到上帝眷顾你的时刻。”

耶稣对他们说：“你们看见这殿宇了吗？我实在告诉你们，将来它要被完全拆毁，在这里找不到两块叠在一起的石头。”

“北方王的儿子们必发动战争，召集大军，如洪水席卷而来，直打到南方王的堡垒。

我的力量枯竭如焦土，我的舌头发干紧贴上颚。你把我放在死亡的尘土中。

又对他们说：“圣经上说，基督必受害，然后在第三天从死里复活，

至于我，当我从地上被举起来时，必吸引万人归向我。”耶稣这句话指的是祂会怎样死。众人问：“我们从律法书上知道，基督是永远长存的，你怎么说‘人子要被举起来’呢？这人子是谁呢？”

上帝使无罪的基督担当我们的罪，使我们可以借着基督成为被上帝接纳的义人。

“天国就像一个王为儿子筹备婚宴。

我不再跟你们多谈，因为世界的王快要来了。他根本没有力量胜过我，

他们要死在刀剑之下，要被掳到外国去。耶路撒冷要被外族人蹂躏，直到外族人肆虐的日期满了为止。

你们听见战争爆发、战讯频传时，不要惊慌，因为这些事必然发生，只是末日还没有到。民族将与民族互斗，国家将与国家相争，各处将有饥荒和地震。这些只是灾难的开始。“那时，你们将遭人迫害、杀害，并因我的名而被万民憎恨。那时，许多人会放弃信仰，互相出卖，彼此憎恨。许多假先知也会出现，迷惑许多人。由于罪恶泛滥，许多人的爱逐渐冷淡。但坚忍到底的必定得救。这天国的福音将传遍天下，让万民都听见，然后末日才会来临。

“你们听见战争爆发、战讯频传时，不要惊慌，因为这些事必然发生，只是末日还没有到。

这片土地要因此而震动，那里的人都要悲哀。大地要像尼罗河一样涨起，如埃及的河流翻腾退落。”

那王必与许多人缔结一七之久的盟约。一七之半，他必终止祭牲和供物，并且设立带来毁灭的可憎之物，直到所定的结局临到这恶者。”

看啊！你们的家园将一片荒凉。

主——万军之耶和华触摸大地，大地就消融，地上的人都要哀号；大地如埃及的尼罗河涨起退落。

你们蒙召也是为此，因为基督也为你们受过苦，给你们留下榜样，叫你们可以追随祂的脚步。

王大怒，派军队去剿灭凶手，烧毁他们的城。

因为基督也曾一次为罪受苦，以无罪之身代替不义之人，为要领你们到上帝面前。祂的肉体虽被处死，但祂借着圣灵复活了。

他决意倾全国之力而来，与南方王建立联盟，并将自己的女儿嫁给南方王，旨在推翻他的国。但北方王的计划必然失败，毫无收益。

耶稣说：“你们现在所见到的，将来有一天要被完全拆毁，找不到两块叠在一起的石头。”

我要差来亚述王的军队，使他们像幼发拉底河的洪流一样汹涌而来，淹没一切水道，漫过河岸，

他们还派人作伪证说：“司提凡常常讲侮辱圣地和律法的话。我们听见他说那个拿撒勒人耶稣要毁坏圣殿，还要摒弃摩西传给我们的规矩。”

但基督替我们受了咒诅，从而救赎我们脱离了律法的咒诅，因为圣经上说：“凡挂在木头上的人都是受咒诅的。”

祂被钉在十字架上，亲身担当了我们的罪，使我们向着罪死了，可以过公义的生活。因祂所受的鞭伤，你们得到了医治。

其实这句话不是出于他自己，只因那年他是大祭司，上帝借着他预言耶稣将要替犹太民族死。祂不单是要替犹太民族死，也要把散居在各处的上帝的儿女聚集在一起。
