于是，行政官、总长、省长、参谋、司库官、司法官、审判官和各省所有的官员，都被招聚来参加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉献礼；他们站在尼布甲尼撒所立之像的前面。

百官既集、立於像前、將行釁禮、

於是方伯、大員、牧伯、刑官、庫官、謀士、士師、及諸邑宰咸至、將為尼布甲尼撒王所立之像、行告成禮、俱立於尼布甲尼撒所立之像前、

So the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates and all the other provincial officials assembled for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, and they stood before it.

So the royal rulers, high officials and governors came together. So did the advisers, treasurers, judges and court officers. All the other officials joined them. They came to honor the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. They stood in front of it.

Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So all these officials came and stood before the statue King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the satraps, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So the satraps, prefects, governors, counselors, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the other provincial authorities assembled for the dedication of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had erected. They were standing in front of the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had erected.

Then the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled.

But when they recognized that he was a Jew, a single outcry arose from them all as they shouted for about two hours,“ Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”After quieting the crowd, the town clerk* said,“ Men of Ephesus, what person is there after all who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of the image which fell down from the sky?

There is no one who understands, There is no one who seeks out God;

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened.Claiming to be wise, they became fools,and they exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible mankind, of birds, four footed animals, and crawling creatures.Therefore God gave them up to vile impurity in the lusts of their hearts, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.For they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature,and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper,

He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the presence of people.And he deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who* had the wound of the sword and has come to life.And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause all who do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,

but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.For the foolishness of God is wiser than mankind, and the weakness of God is stronger than mankind.For consider your calling, brothers and sisters, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;

These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

God takes His position in His assembly; He judges in the midst of the gods.How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? SelahVindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.Rescue the weak and needy; Save them from the hand of the wicked.They do not know nor do they understand; They walk around in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.I said,“ You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.Nevertheless you will die like men, And fall like one of the princes.”Arise, God, judge the earth! For You possess all the nations.
