爾等既為天主寵愛之子民、亟宜以慈善、謙恭、忍耐為佩、寬容大量、彼此體諒、

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

You are God’s chosen people. You are holy and dearly loved. So put on tender mercy and kindness as if they were your clothes. Don’t be proud. Be gentle and patient.

Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,and in your knowledge, self control, and in your self control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they do not make you useless nor unproductive in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, self control; against such things there is no law.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.Everyone who hates his brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will set our heart at ease before Him,that if our heart condemns us, that God is greater than our heart, and He knows all things.

constantly keeping in mind your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,knowing, brothers and sisters, beloved by God, His choice of you;for our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sakes.You also became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word during great affliction with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor,

See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.

And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of heaven.

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long for them?

And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

But we should always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,whom He richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior,

They will not build and another inhabit, They will not plant and another eat; For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, And My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

for though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose according to His choice would stand, not because of works but because of Him who calls,

for false christs and false prophets will arise, and will provide signs and wonders, in order to mislead, if possible, the elect.

and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ( by grace you have been saved),

For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.

And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a delightful child? Indeed, as often as I have spoken against him, I certainly still remember him; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will certainly have mercy on him,” declares the Lord.

And if those days had not been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, since otherwise grace is no longer grace.What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened;

who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters;and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?Who will bring charges against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;

For false christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”
