「我在收割前三個月停止降雨。我在一座城降雨，在另一座城不降雨；我使一塊田有雨水的滋潤，另一塊田因無雨而乾裂。

“在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你们那里；我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城；这块地有雨，那块地无雨；无雨的就枯干了。

“在收割的前三个月，我不降雨在你们那里，我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城；这块地有雨，那块无雨的地就必枯干。

『也是我在收割前還有三個月使雨停止不降在你們那裏；我降雨在一個城，不降雨在另一個城；這一塊地有雨，那一塊地無雨，就枯乾了。

穫前三月、我禁厥雨、惟雨此邑、不雨彼邑、一田得雨、他田無雨、則枯槁焉、

耶和華又曰、秋前三月、我不降雨、惟雨一邑、他邑不雨、惟潤一田、他田不潤、遂致荒蕪、

穡前三月、我禁止雨降、降雨於一邑、不降雨於他邑、一田得雨、他田不得雨、遂致乾旱、

“ I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away. I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain; another had none and dried up.

“ I also held back rain from you. The time to harvest crops was still three months away. I sent rain on one town. But I held it back from another. One field had rain. But another had no rain and dried up.

“ I also withheld the rain from you when there were yet three months to the harvest; I would send rain on one city, and send no rain on another city; one field would have rain, and the field on which it did not rain would wither;

“ I kept the rain from falling when your crops needed it the most. I sent rain on one town but withheld it from another. Rain fell on one field, while another field withered away.

I also withheld the rain from you while there were still three months until harvest. I sent rain on one city but no rain on another. One field received rain while a field with no rain withered.

“ Furthermore, I withheld the rain from you While there were still three months until harvest. Then I would send rain on one city, But on another city I would not send rain; One part would be rained on, While the part not rained on would dry up.

“ I also withheld rain from you, When there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, And where it did not rain the part withered.

And I also have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

I also withheld the rain from you while there were still three months until harvest. I sent rain on one city but no rain on another. One field received rain while a field with no rain withered.

And also I have withholden the rain from you, when[ there were] yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

“ I withheld rain from you three months before the harvest. I gave rain to one city, but not to another. One field would get rain, but the field that received no rain dried up.

“ I also have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city. One place was rained on, and the piece where it didn’t rain withered.

因此，秋雨不降，春雨不來。你卻仍然不知羞恥，一副娼妓的嘴臉。

只有以色列人所住的歌珊沒有冰雹。

我不再修剪，不再鋤地，也不再降雨，任由它荒廢，長滿荊棘和蒺藜。」

以利亞先知和我們一樣同是血肉之軀，他懇切地祈求不要下雨，結果三年半沒有下雨。

埃及人彼此看不見，誰也不敢移動半步。可是，以色列人住的地方卻有光。

但我要把埃及和以色列的牲畜分開，以色列人的牲畜必絲毫無損。』」

天不下雨，土地乾裂，農夫沮喪地抱著頭。

「如果你們仍然不肯聽從我，繼續與我作對，我也要與你們作對，向你們發烈怒，把比先前嚴厲七倍的懲罰加在你們身上。

求你給個憑據。我把一團羊毛放在麥場上，若明天早晨只是羊毛上有露水，地面卻是乾的，我就知道，如你所言，你要用我去拯救以色列人。」果然如此，基甸一早醒來，從羊毛中擠出滿滿一碗露水。基甸又對上帝說：「求你不要發怒，容許我再試一次，這次讓羊毛是乾的，地面有露水。」那天晚上，耶和華就照他所求使地面佈滿露水，唯獨羊毛是乾的。

「當你的子民得罪你，你懲罰他們，叫天不降雨時，如果他們向著這殿禱告，承認你的名，並離開罪惡，求你在天上垂聽，赦免你僕人——你以色列子民的罪，教導他們走正道，降下甘霖滋潤你賜給你子民作產業的土地。

所以，天不降雨露，地無出產。我讓旱災臨到大地、群山、五穀、葡萄、橄欖等地裡的出產以及人畜，使你們一切的勞碌付諸東流。』」

否則，耶和華必向你們發怒，使天不下雨、地無出產，以致你們在祂賜給你們的佳美之地上迅速滅亡。

「如果你們還是與我作對，我也要與你們作對，用比先前嚴重七倍的災難擊打你們。

地上萬族中若有人不上耶路撒冷敬拜大君王——萬軍之耶和華，他們必沒有雨水。

田園荒廢，遍地淒涼，五穀盡毀，再也沒有新酒和油了。農夫啊，你們要憂傷！照料葡萄園的人啊，你們要哀號！因為田間的大麥和小麥全毀了。葡萄樹枯死，無花果樹凋殘，石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹等田野的一切樹木枯乾。人間的歡樂消逝了。祭司啊，穿著喪服痛哭吧；在祭壇前事奉的人啊，要哀號；我上帝的僕人啊，要披上麻衣過夜；因為再無素祭和奠祭獻到你們上帝的殿中了。你們要定一個禁食的日子，舉行莊嚴的聚會，召集全國的長老和人民，到你們的上帝耶和華的殿中，向耶和華呼求。太可怕了！耶和華的日子近了，那是全能者施行毀滅的日子。我們的糧食斷絕了，我們上帝殿中的歡樂消失了。種子在土裡腐爛，五穀乾死，倉庫荒廢，穀倉被拆毀。牲畜哀鳴，牛群因找不到草場而四處亂竄，羊群也受苦。

若我使天不下雨，使蝗蟲吞吃地上的出產，或叫瘟疫在我民中流行，而這些被稱為我名下的子民若謙卑下來，祈禱、尋求我的面，離開惡道，我必從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，醫治他們的土地。

他們擁有權能，在傳道期間可以關閉天空使雨不降在地上，又有權使水變成血，並隨時用各樣的災禍擊打世界。

在列國供奉的偶像中，誰能賜下雨水呢？天能自降甘霖嗎？我們的上帝耶和華啊，難道不是只有你能行這些事嗎？是你賜雨水降甘霖，所以我們仰望你。

錫安的人民啊，你們應當歡喜快樂，從你們的上帝耶和華那裡得到喜樂。因為祂按時降下甘霖，像從前一樣賜給你們秋雨、春雨。

「祂要使你們頭頂的天如銅，腳下的地如鐵。「祂要使雨水變為塵土，降在你們身上，直到你們滅亡。

你們心中從未說，我們要敬畏我們的上帝耶和華，祂按時降下秋雨和春雨，讓我們按時收割。你們的罪過使你們不再風調雨順，你們的罪惡使你們失去祝福。』

「如果你們受過這些懲罰，仍然不知悔改，我要把比先前嚴厲七倍的懲罰加在你們身上。我要重挫你們的傲氣，使你們頭上的天如鐵，腳下的地如銅。你們勞作也是徒然，因為你們的土地必不長莊稼，果樹也不結果實。「如果你們仍然與我作對，不肯聽從我，我要把比先前嚴重七倍的災難降在你們身上。

你們不是說還有四個月才到收割的時候嗎？舉目向田觀看吧，莊稼已經熟了，可以收割了。

但那天，我子民居住的歌珊卻絲毫不會受攪擾，這樣你就知道我耶和華主宰天下。

誰使你與眾不同呢？你有哪一樣不是領受的呢？既然一切都是領受的，你為什麼還自誇，好像不是領受的？
