They trample on the heads of the poor as on the dust of the ground and deny justice to the oppressed. Father and son use the same girl and so profane my holy name.

我知道你們的過犯眾多、罪惡無數。你們迫害義人，收受賄賂，在城門口冤枉窮人。

你們冤枉窮人，奪去我子民中困苦者的權利，擄掠寡婦，搶劫孤兒。

有人與鄰居的妻子幹出可憎之事，有人玷污自己的兒媳婦，有人姦污自己的同父姊妹。

我聽說在你們當中竟有人與繼母亂倫。這種淫亂的事，就是連異教徒都做不出來。

你們把我子民中的婦女從她們的幸福家園趕走，又從她們的子女身上永遠地奪去我的尊榮。

他們貪圖田地，就去霸佔；想要房屋，就去搶奪。他們欺壓人，詐取別人的家園和產業。

不可與你父親的妻妾亂倫，那會羞辱你的父親。

住在撒瑪利亞山上的巴珊肥母牛啊，你們要聽！你們壓榨貧寒人，欺凌窮苦人，又使喚丈夫倒酒暢飲。

亞哈不能如願，就悶悶不樂地回到宮中，躺在床上生氣，飯也不吃。

我也必嚴懲那人，將他從民中剷除。因為他把子女獻給摩洛，玷污我的聖所，褻瀆我的聖名。

不可與兒媳亂倫。她是你兒子的妻子，不可與她亂倫。

他們無論分散到何處，都使我的聖名受到褻瀆，因為外族人都談論他們說，『這些人是耶和華的子民，卻不得不離開耶和華的土地。』

虔敬人已從大地上滅絕，世間再沒有正直人。人人伺機殺人流血，用網羅獵取自己的弟兄。他們善於作惡。領袖和審判官索要賄賂，顯貴袒露心中的惡慾，朋比為奸。

徇私偏袒實不可取，人卻為一餅而枉法。

正如聖經上說：「因你們的緣故，上帝的名在外族人中受到褻瀆！」

但你做的醜事給了仇敵褻瀆耶和華的機會，所以你這個孩子必定死。」

她的首領是咆哮的獅子，她的審判官是夜間的豺狼，不留一點獵物到天明。

踐踏貧民、滅絕窮人的人啊，你們要聽！
