使徒和在犹太的弟兄们，听说外族人也接受了神的道。

在下午三点祷告的时辰，彼得和约翰上圣殿去。有一个生来瘸腿的人被人抬来。他们天天把他放在那名叫美门的殿门口，让他好向进殿的人讨饭。他看见彼得和约翰将要进殿，就向他们讨饭。

那撒在好土里的，就是人听了道，又明白了，结出果实来，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。”

弃绝我又不接受我的话的人，自有审判他的。我所讲的道在末日要定他的罪；

耶稣差派彼得和约翰，说：“你们去为我们预备逾越节的晚餐给我们吃。”

这里的人，比帖撒罗尼迦人开明，热切接受主的道，天天考查圣经，要知道所听的是否与圣经相符。

于是接受他话的人都受了洗，那一天门徒增加了约三千人。

那些因司提反事件遭受苦难而四散的门徒，一直走到腓尼基、塞浦路斯、安提阿；他们不对别人传讲，只对犹太人传讲。但其中有些塞浦路斯人和古利奈人，来到安提阿，也对希腊人传讲主耶稣。主的手与他们同在，信而归主的人就多起来。这事传到耶路撒冷教会的耳中，他们就派巴拿巴到安提阿去。

到了耶路撒冷，他们受到教会、使徒和长老的接待，就报告神同他们一起所行的一切。
