集會之事、切勿中輟、如若輩無恆者之所為也。亟宜彼此勗勉夾持；蓋彼日伊邇、更無因循之餘地矣。

諸徒同心一德、堅毅祈禱、尚有婦女數人、及耶穌聖母瑪莉雅與昆弟亦與之偕。

是在爾等篤守信德、確乎不拔、以保因聞福音而得之希望而已。此福音已布於普天生靈、而我葆樂竟得供役於斯。

願我愛友、黽勉自勵；於爾神聖之信仰上、好自建立；常憑聖神之默感、以祈以禱；

而吾儕則專事祈禱傳道。』

既至、睹天主恩寵、為之欣然、勸眾堅志、依主不回。

祈禱之道、惟誠與恆、務望常懷儆惕、莫忘洪恩、

吾人則非畏首畏尾、終致淪亡之徒也；乃浩然不疑、自求靈祉之人也。

當憑聖神之靈感祈禱不輟儆醒不倦、且為諸聖籲告、

葆樂復上、析餅而食、續談久之、黎明始去。

爾等既飲主之爵、豈可又飲魔鬼之爵；既與主共席、能復與魔鬼共席乎？

勸眾堅心、信道勿移、曰：『吾人欲入天主之國、必須經歷多難。』

夫吾人所聖之寶爵、非吾人共飲之基督聖血乎？吾人所分之餅、又非吾人共領之基督聖體乎？是知吾人雖眾、既共享一餅、則同屬一餅、而合為一體矣。

耶穌因謂之曰：『爾能恪守吾道、是真吾徒、且必能了悟真理、而真理必使爾為自由之人矣。』

禱畢、大地震動、眾感聖神、無不昌言天主之道焉。

此聖宅、以宗徒先知為基、而有耶穌基督親充隅石；

惟望吾兒、篤守所學、毋負所託、應念所師承者為何如之人、

故望兄弟深思遠慮、小心翼翼、毋為不肖者之謬說所搖奪、而失其所守。務宜在吾救主耶穌基督之聖寵及認識上、日有長進也。願主受享光榮、自今茲、迄永世、心焉祝之。

此輩雖自吾儕中出、然自始非吾道中人；若真屬吾道中人、則應始終與吾儕相偕；今若輩半途而廢、與我分道、則其本非吾道中人、彰彰明矣。

曩者爾等因基督之聖寵、而蒙天主之恩召；曾幾何時、爾等竟已背棄所天、而信從另一福音、此吾之所為驚訝不置者也。

竊謂爾等集會、其意不在聖餐也。蓋每人各先食其自備之餐；於是不獲一飽者有之、而縱飲無度者亦有之。嗚呼、爾豈無私宅為爾飲食之所乎？抑爾藐視天主聖堂、而欲以飲食炫耀窮人之耳目乎？然則、吾將何言、謂吾與爾乎、吾弗與也。夫吾所授於爾者、乃吾所受於主也。主耶穌於被逮之夕、取餅、祝而分之、曰：此乃吾體、為爾等所捨者；爾等當行此禮、以誌永懷。食後取爵亦然、曰：此爵乃吾血所立之新約、爾等每飲、當行此禮、以誌永懷。是故爾每食此餅、每飲此爵、即係紀念主之彌留、以待其重臨。

爾等事事以予為懷、且能遵守予之教訓、誠可嘉也；

養怡神於望德、練弘毅於艱辛。

二人乃為具述途中所遇、及授餅時如何認主事。

親愛之同道乎、予致書於爾、此已為第二通矣。予之所以一再修書、諄諄不倦者、惟欲激發爾等誠實無妄之心、俾能恆懷古聖先知之預言、及宗徒所授救主之明誡耳。

主假宗徒之手、廣行神蹟、信眾咸一德一心、集於所羅門廊下、餘眾不敢雜廁其中、然而民益敬之、男女信者日盛；

二人既釋、以司祭長與長老所言告諸會友、

落於礩地者、譬人聞道即歡忻鼓舞而受之、惟其內無根、蓬勃一時、不能持之以恆、一旦為道之故、而遭遇艱難困厄、則頹然而廢矣；
