時使徒長老及全教會、決意於其中選人、與保羅巴拿巴同往安提約、所選之人、即稱巴撒巴之猶大、及西拉、乃兄弟中之表率、以書託之、其書云、使徒、長老、兄弟、問安提約、敘利亞、基利嘉、異邦人中諸兄弟安、

我原自由、不為人轄、而甘為眾役、為欲得眾、於猶太人我如猶太人、以得猶太人、於律法下者我如律法下、以得律法下者、於無律法者我如無律法、以得無律法者、實我在天主前非無律法、乃在基督之律法下、於荏弱者我如荏弱、以得荏弱者、我於眾人如眾人、為欲以多方拯救數人、我為福音行此、欲與人共得福音之益、○

昔以基督恩召爾者、爾離之如是之速、而別從一福音、是我所奇異、此不足為福音也、但有人擾爾、欲傾覆基督之福音、或我儕、或天使、傳福音於爾、異於我所傳爾者、則當被阿拿提瑪、當被阿拿提瑪譯即當被詛之義我已言之、今復言之、若有人傳福音於爾、異於爾所受者、則當被阿拿提瑪、我今求為人所許乎、或求為天主所許乎、抑求悅於人乎、我若求悅人、則不為天主之僕矣、○

我賴基督、雖能以所宜者毅然命爾、然以愛故、寧求爾、蓋我保羅已老矣、今因耶穌基督被囚、

乃經行諸邑、以耶路撒冷使徒及長老所定之律、授門徒守之、

我遣猶大、西拉、亦以口述此事、

聖神命我同往勿疑、且此兄弟六人、與我偕行、並入其人之室、

爾若行是事、天主亦如是命爾、則爾可勝任、斯民亦可安然得所、

我自思、凡事不亞於至大之使徒、

故我儕同心既集、決意選擇數人、遣之就爾、與我儕所愛之保羅巴拿巴同往、

彼得延之入、止宿、明日與之往、約帕兄弟數人偕行、

可愛者乎、我既殷勤以書達爾、論我儕共得之救、於書內必當勸爾、為昔日一次所授聖徒之道、盡心爭辯、
