于是，大卫命令部下杀了他们，斩断他们的手脚，把尸体挂在希伯仑的池旁。他们把伊施波设的头颅葬在希伯仑押尼珥的坟墓里。

他又高声对我说：“看啊，那些到北方去的已在那里使我的心得到安慰。”

以下是主耶和华让我看见的异象：看啊，祂造了一大群蝗虫。那时，王室的作物已经收割，第二季作物刚开始发苗。蝗虫吃尽地上的青苗时，我说：“主耶和华啊，求你赦免！雅各那么弱小，他怎么受得了呢？”于是，耶和华心生怜悯，说：“我不降这灾了。”以下是主耶和华让我看见的异象：看啊，主耶和华降下审判的大火。大火烧干了深海，正在吞噬土地。那时，我说：“主耶和华啊，求你停止吧！雅各那么弱小，他怎么受得了呢？”于是，耶和华心生怜悯，说：“我也不降这灾了。”

他们就把押尼珥葬在希伯仑。大卫王和众人在墓旁大哭一场。

使他和他的后代凭此约可以永远做祭司，因为他为我除掉了不贞之人，为以色列人赎了罪。”

以利亚对他们说：“抓住巴力的先知，别放走一个人！”众人就抓住他们，以利亚把他们带到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。以利亚对亚哈说：“你去吃喝吧，因为我已听见大雨将临的声音。”
