主知拯虔者於試中、而留不義者於刑下、以待鞫日、

惟主救敬虔之人、免於患難、而留不義者、待鞫日受刑、

惟主知拯救虔敬之人、脫於苦難、而留不義之人、待審判之日受刑、

觀此可見天主固知何以脫善人於危難、而將惡人留待審判之日、以受顯罰。

if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

Since all this is true, then the Lord knows how to save godly people. He knows how to keep them safe in times of testing. The Lord also knows how to keep ungodly people under guard. He will do so until the day they will be judged and punished.

你们所遭受的试探，无非是人所遭受的。神是信实的，他不会让你们受试探过于你们所能受的；而且在你们受试探的时候，他会给你们开一条出路，使你们能忍受得住。

耶和华的眼目向着义人，他的耳朵听他们的呼求。耶和华的脸敌对作恶的人，要把他们的名号从地上剪除。义人呼求，耶和华就垂听，解救他们脱离一切的患难。耶和华与心灵破碎的人相近，他拯救灵里痛悔的人。义人有许多患难，但耶和华解救他脱离这一切，

因为你遵守了我忍耐的教导，我还要保守你脱离那试炼的时刻，就是那将要临到普天下，考验住在地上之人的时刻。

其实，所有想要在基督耶稣里过敬神生活的，也都会受到逼迫；

但现在的天和地，藉着他的话语得以存留，一直留到不敬神的人受审判和灭亡的日子，被火焚烧。

亚当的第七代子孙以诺也曾预言这些人，说：“看哪，主带着他的千万圣者来临，要对所有的人施行审判，又要指证每个人以不敬神的方式所做的一切不敬神的事，以及不敬神的罪人所说的一切顶撞神的狂妄话。”

他为我们献上自己，是为了救赎我们脱离一切罪恶，并且洁净我们做他自己特选的子民，做美好工作的热心人。

因为我们大家都必须站在基督的审判台前，好使每个人都为自己藉着身体所做的，或善或恶，领受回报。既然如此，我们因为知道敬畏主，就劝导人。我们在神面前是显明的，但我希望在你们的良心里，也是显明的。

耶和华造一切都有其目的；连恶人也为祸患的日子所造。

要知道：既然神没有顾惜那些犯罪的天使，把他们扔进地狱，囚禁在幽暗的坑里，拘留到审判的时候；

可是你照着顽固和不悔改的心，为那震怒的日子，就是神公义审判显现的日子，给自己积蓄了震怒。

你们要知道：耶和华已经把忠信的人分别出来归于自己，我向耶和华呼求的时候，他就垂听。

耶和华啊，求你拯救！因为忠信的人不存在了，忠实的人从世人中消失了。

为此，愿每个忠信者在能找到你的时候向你祷告；即使大水泛滥，也不能触及他。
