婦至上帝僕所以告。彼曰、可鬻此油、以償所貸之金、尚有餘焉、爾與爾子、以供日用。○

She went and told the man of God, and he said,“ Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

如是、爾向外人行事合宜、而己亦無所乏也、○

勿以惡報惡、專心行善於眾人前、

惡人借貸不償、善人矜憐施捨、
