緣耶羅波安所犯之罪、使以色列人陷之、耶和華必棄以色列族、

乃行惡較前人尤甚、立他神、鑄偶像、激我之怒、棄而背我、

以色列人從耶羅波安所犯諸罪、不離棄之、

意謂此國將歸大衛家、倘斯民往耶路撒冷、獻祭於耶和華室、其心必歸厥主猶大王羅波安、則殺我而歸彼、王既籌思、乃作金犢二、告民曰、爾曹上耶路撒冷甚難、以色列人歟、導爾出埃及之神即此、遂置一犢於伯特利、一犢於但、此事陷人於罪、因民往但、崇拜其一、王於崇邱建廟、由眾民中、不屬利未族者、簡立祭司、又設節期於八月之望、若猶大之節期、而登其壇、在伯特利亦如是、獻祭於所作之犢、以所立為邱壇之祭司、置於伯特利、八月之望、即以己意所定之期、詣伯特利所作之壇、為以色列族設筵、登壇焚香、

循尼八子耶羅波安之道、以為細事、乃娶西頓王謁巴力女耶洗別為后、從而服事崇拜巴力、

行耶和華所惡、不離棄尼八子耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、至於畢生、

行耶和華所惡、從尼八子耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、不離棄之、

行耶和華所惡、效其列祖所為、不離棄尼八子耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、

拿答行耶和華所惡、循父之道、干父陷以色列人之罪、

耶羅波安雖遇此事、仍不悛其惡行、復由眾民中、簡立崇邱之祭司、凡欲之者、則區別之、使為崇邱祭司、
