He replied,“ Bring me a new bowl and put salt in it.” After they had brought him one,

以利沙说：“你们拿一个新瓶来，装盐给我”；他们就拿来给他。

以利沙说：“你们拿一个新的瓶子来，里面装盐。”他们就拿给他。

以利沙说：“拿一个新碗装些盐给我。”他们就去照办。

以利沙说：“给我拿一个新碗来，里面要盛点盐。”他们就把碗拿给他。

以利沙說：「你們拿一個新瓶來，裝鹽給我」；他們就拿來給他。

以利沙說：「你們拿一個新的瓶子來，裏面裝鹽。」他們就拿給他。

以利沙說：「你們拿一個新的瓶子來，裏面裝鹽。」他們就拿給他。

以利沙說：「拿一個新碗裝些鹽給我。」他們就去照辦。

以利沙說：“給我拿一個新碗來，裡面要盛點鹽。”他們就把碗拿給他。

以利沙說：『拿一個新盤子來給我，放鹽在裏面。』他們就拿來給他。

曰、取新盂盛鹽予我、遂取而予之、

曰、以新盂盛鹽、攜之至此。遂攜以至。

“ Bring me a new bowl,” he said,“ and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

“ Bring me a new bowl,” Elisha said.“ Put some salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

He said,“ Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

Elisha said,“ Bring me a new bowl with salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

And he said,“ Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

And he said,“ Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.

He replied,“ Bring me a new bowl and put salt in it.” After they had brought him one,

And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought[ it] to him.

Elisha said,“ Get me a new jar and put some salt in it.” So they got it.

He said,“ Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” Then they brought it to him.

So Abimelech fought against the city that entire day, captured it, and killed the people who were in it. Then he tore down the city and sowed it with salt.

Yet its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be left for salt.

Therefore, as I live— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel— Moab will be like Sodom and the Ammonites like Gomorrah: a place overgrown with weeds, a salt pit, and a perpetual wasteland. The remnant of my people will plunder them; the remainder of my nation will dispossess them.
