彼賴天主、若為天主所悅、今可拯之、蓋彼嘗言我乃天主子也、

使天主之榮、因我儕先仰賴基督者得頌讚、

凡倚恃我、我原文作主惟我我原文作主是賴、斯人有福、必如樹木栽於水旁、根延河畔、不見炎熱、其葉青葱、乾旱之年、無所憂慮、結果不息、○

希西家禱於主前曰、居二基路伯間主以色列之天主歟、惟主為天下萬國之天主、天地乃主所造、求主側耳垂聽、求主啟目垂顧、聽西拿基立遣使毀謗永生天主之言、主歟、亞述列王、毀滅列族之民與其國、以火焚其神、此事誠有、但其神非天主、非天主或作非真神乃木石之偶像、人手所造者、故被毀滅、

我惟倚賴主之恩慈、蒙主救援、我心歡樂、

主為我之光明、乃我之救主、我尚懼誰耶、主為我生命之保障、我尚畏誰耶、作惡之類、即我之仇人、我之敵人、前來攻我、欲食我肉、彼皆傾跌顛仆、

蒙雅各之天主扶助、仰望主其天主者、斯人便為有福、主造天地與海及其間之萬物、守誠實至於永遠、

是時先見哈拿尼來見猶大王亞撒、謂之曰、爾恃亞蘭王、不恃主爾之天主、故亞蘭軍脫於爾手、古實人、路比人、其軍非大乎、車騎非眾乎、爾恃主、主遂付之於爾手、主目遍鑒天下、凡誠心向主者、主力助之、爾於此事、所行愚昧、此後爾必有戰事、

雖天主戮我、使我失望、亦必以我之行、辨白其前、或作天主雖戮我我猶望之以我之行辨白其前

明日夙興、往提哥亞之野、將行約沙法立而語之曰、猶大人與耶路撒冷居民、宜聽我言、當信主爾之天主則必堅立、信主之先知則必亨通、

爾當強心壯志、強心壯志或作奮勇勉力無因亞述王與所率之大軍、恐懼喪膽、蓋助我者較助彼者眾、助彼者肉臂、助我者乃主我之天主、必祐我、為我戰、民遂恃猶大王希西家之言、

天主護庇我儕、賜力於我儕、當患難時、極顯救濟、所以地雖震陷、山雖崩倒海中、我儕亦無恐懼、

此後猶大王約沙法與以色列王亞哈謝納交、亞哈謝行惡特甚、

萬有之主歟、仰賴主者、即為有福、

亞撒籲主其天主曰、主若救援、不視人之多寡強弱、求主我之天主助我、我仰賴主、倚恃主名、來禦此大軍、主乃我之天主、求主勿容人勝主、
