卻走以色列諸王所走的路；竟將兒子用火燒獻為祭，像永恆主從以色列人面前所驅逐的外國人所行可厭惡的事一樣；

却效法以色列诸王所行的，又照着耶和华从以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事，使他的儿子经火，

卻效法以色列諸王所行的，又照着耶和華從以色列人面前趕出的外邦人所行可憎的事，使他的兒子經火，

He followed the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.

『因為猶大王瑪拿西行這些可厭惡的事、比他以前的亞摩利人一切所行的更壞，並且用他的偶像使猶大人犯了罪；

他們將自己的兒女用火燒獻為祭，又占卜，又觀兆頭，又出賣自己、去行永恆主所看為壞的事，而惹他發怒。

只是從來沒有人像亞哈的；他出賣了他自己、去行永恆主所看為壞的事；王后耶洗別教唆了他，他就行了極可厭惡的事，去跟從偶像，正如永恆主從以色列人面前所趕出的亞摩利人所行的一樣。

你這樣宰殺我的兒女，使他們經過火而歸於它們呀。

並在欣嫩子谷將兒女用火燒獻為祭，又算命，又觀兆頭，又行邪術，又行交鬼的事和巫術；多行永恆主所看為壞的事，而惹他發怒。

你不是只按他們所行的而行，不是只照他們可厭惡之事去作；你乃是以那為小可；故此你一切所行的居然比她們更腐壞。

卻走以色列諸王的路。竟為巴力造了鑄像；並且在欣嫩子平谷中燒香，將兒女用火燒獻為祭，像永恆主從以色列人面前所驅逐的外國人所行可厭惡的事一樣；他並且在邱壇上、在山岡上、和各茂盛樹下宰牲燻祭。

亞哈謝也走亞哈家所走的路，因為他母親給他主謀、使他行惡。

他走了以色列諸王所走的路，正如亞哈家所作的；因為他娶了亞哈的女兒做妻子，行永恆主所看為壞的事。

猶大地也有男性廟倡；猶大人都依照永恆主從以色列人面前所趕出的外國人可厭惡的行為而行。

並將他的兒子用火燒獻為祭，又算命，又觀兆頭，又行交鬼的事和巫術；多行永恆主所看為壞的事、而惹他發怒。

在你中間不可有人將兒子或女兒用火燒獻為祭，也不可有占卜的、算命的、觀兆頭的、行邪術的、

因他們使一切首開母胎的孩子經過火而獻為祭，我就用他們這些祭獻來玷污他們，使他們驚駭；為要使他們知道我乃是永恆主。

他行永恆主所看為壞的事，像永恆主從以色列人面前所驅逐的外國人所行厭惡的事一樣。

反而和外國人混雜嫁娶，學習他們的行為，

約西亞又使欣嫩子谷的陀斐特成了凡俗，不許人將兒女用火燒獻給摩洛。

他犯了尼八的兒子耶羅波安所犯的罪、還以為輕，竟又娶了西頓王謁巴力的女兒耶洗別為妻子，去服事敬拜巴力；在他於撒瑪利亞所建造的巴力廟裏、他竟為巴力立起了一座祭壇。亞哈又立了亞舍拉神木；更加行惡來惹永恆主以色列之上帝的發怒，比他以前的以色列諸王更壞。

行永恆主所看為壞的事，走他父親的路，母親的路，又走那使以色列人犯了罪的、尼八的兒子耶羅波安的路。他照他父親一切所作的、去服事敬拜巴力，惹了永恆主以色列之上帝的怒。

他們築了巴力的邱壇，就是那在欣嫩子平谷的，去讓自己的兒女經過火而獻歸摩洛；他們行了這可厭惡的事、使猶大陷於罪裏，這並不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心裏所起意過的呀。

耶羅波安王就打定了主意，造了兩隻金牛犢，對眾民說：『以色列人哪，你們上耶路撒冷去已經夠了；看哪，這就是你們的神、那領你們從埃及地上來的。』他就把牛犢一隻立在伯特利，一隻安在但。這事就是犯罪，因為眾民到伯特利一隻牛犢面前去敬拜，也到遠在但地的那一隻面前去。

『你要對以色列人說：凡以色列人、和在以色列中寄居的外僑、將自己的後裔獻給摩洛的、總必須被處死；這地的人要扔石頭把他砍死。

你們奉上供品，使你們的兒子經過火而獻為祭的時候，仍將你們一切的偶像去玷污自己直到今日。以色列家啊，我哪裏要給你們求問呢？主永恆主發神諭說，我指着永活的我來起誓，我是不讓你們求問的。
