Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest,and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace.In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s word.Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel.For this I am an ambassador in chains. When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.

Never take the word of truth from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgments.

Yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is God’s power and God’s wisdom,

In fact, He was crucified in weakness, but He lives by God’s power. For we also are weak in Him, yet toward you we will live with Him by God’s power.

The Lord’s hand was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord.

But since we belong to the day, we must be serious and put the armor of faith and love on our chests, and put on a helmet of the hope of salvation.

And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the accompanying signs.

By His own choice, He gave us a new birth by the message of truth so that we would be the firstfruits of His creatures.

The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near, so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.Let us walk with decency, as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness; not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy.

My speech and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a powerful demonstration by the Spirit,so that your faith might not be based on men’s wisdom but on God’s power.
