I am afraid that when I come again, my God may humiliate me before you, and I will grieve for many of those who previously sinned and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced.

且怕我来的时候，我的神叫我在你们面前惭愧，又因许多人从前犯罪，行污秽、奸淫、邪荡的事不肯悔改，我就忧愁。

我怕我再来的时候，我的上帝使我在你们面前蒙羞，并且又因许多人从前犯罪，行污秽、淫乱、放荡的事，不肯悔改而悲伤。

又恐我再至時、上帝卑我於爾前、我將為彼干罪諸人、未改悔其污穢淫亂、邪侈之行者而憂也、

勿使我至時、上帝卑我、見眾犯罪、污穢淫行、邪侈、而不悔改、為吾憂也、

又恐我復來時、我天主使我於爾中慚愧、且見多人已犯罪、而未悔其所行之污穢、姦淫、邪侈、我則甚憂、

更恐吾來時、天主令我汗顏無地、蓋一見諸犯奸邪淫亂之徒、尚未幡然悔改、吾能不為之號咷大哭乎哉？

I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.

I’m afraid that when I come again my God will put me to shame in front of you. Then I will be sad about many who sinned earlier and have not turned away from it. They have not turned away from uncleanness, sexual sins and wild living. They have done all those things.

I fear that when I come again my God may humble me before you, and I may have to mourn over many of those who sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and sensuality that they have practiced.

Yes, I am afraid that when I come again, God will humble me in your presence. And I will be grieved because many of you have not given up your old sins. You have not repented of your impurity, sexual immorality, and eagerness for lustful pleasure.

I fear that when I come my God will again humiliate me in your presence, and I will grieve for many who sinned before and have not repented of the moral impurity, sexual immorality, and sensuality they practiced.

I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have sinned in the past and not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and indecent behavior which they have practiced.

I said before when I was present the second time and now, though absent, I say again to those who sinned previously and to all the rest, that if I come again, I will not spare anyone,

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity,

It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father’s wife.

I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people.In no way did I mean the immoral people of this world, or the greedy and swindlers and idolaters, since you would then have to go out of the world.But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a Christian who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive, or a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person.

So put to deat h whatever in your nature belongs to the earth: sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, evil desire, and greed which is idolatry.

save others by snatching them out of the fire; have mercy on others, coupled with a fear of God, hating even the clothes stained by the flesh.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals,thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

While Ezra was praying and confessing, weeping and throwing himself to the ground before the temple of God, a very large crowd of Israelites– men, women, and children alike– gathered around him. The people wept loudly.

For many live, about whom I have often told you, and now, with tears, I tell you that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, they exult in their shame, and they think about earthly things.

This will keep him from being overwhelmed by excessive grief to the point of despair.Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love for him.For this reason also I wrote you: to test you to see if you are obedient in everything.If you forgive anyone for anything, I also forgive him– for indeed what I have forgiven( if I have forgiven anything) I did so for you in the presence of Christ,so that we may not be exploited by Satan( for we are not ignorant of his schemes).

Tears stream down from my eyes, because people do not keep your law.צ( Tsade)

Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.

So Moses returned to the LORD and said,“ Alas, this people has committed a very serious sin, and they have made for themselves gods of gold.

Now I rejoice, not because you were made sad, but because you were made sad to the point of repentance. For you were made sad as God intended, so that you were not harmed in any way by us.For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.For see what this very thing, this sadness as God intended, has produced in you: what eagerness, what defense of yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what deep concern, what punishment! In everything you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.

Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers.

When I heard this report, I tore my tunic and my robe and ripped out some of the hair from my head and beard. Then I sat down, quite devastated.

Jesus answered,“ You unbelieving and perverse generation! How much longer must I be with you and endure you? Bring your son here.”As the boy was approaching, the demon threw him to the ground and shook him with convulsions. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!Or do you not know that anyone who is united with a prostitute is one body with her? For it is said,“ The two will become one flesh.”But the one united with the Lord is one spirit with him.Flee sexual immorality!“ Every sin a person commits is outside of the body”– but the immoral person sins against his own body.

( 8: 23) I wish that my head were a well full of water and my eyes were a fountain full of tears! If they were, I could cry day and night for those of my dear people who have been killed.

For by speaking high- sounding but empty words they are able to entice, with fleshly desires and with debauchery, people who have just escaped from those who reside in error.

Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood!

The one who testifies to these things says,“ Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

Until the day he died Samuel did not see Saul again. Samuel did, however, mourn for Saul, but the LORD regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.

For you can be confident of this one thing: that no person who is immoral, impure, or greedy( such a person is an idolater) has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience.

We are also ready to punish every act of disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

even because of the extraordinary character of the revelations. Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me– so that I would not become arrogant.

But I am sending these brothers so that our boasting about you may not be empty in this case, so that you may be ready just as I kept telling them.For if any of the Macedonians should come with me and find that you are not ready to give, we would be humiliated( not to mention you) by this confidence we had in you.

For this is God’s will: that you become holy, that you keep away from sexual immorality,that each of you know how to possess his own body in holiness and honor,not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.In this matter no one should violate the rights of his brother or take advantage of him, because the Lord is the avenger in all these cases, as we also told you earlier and warned you solemnly.For God did not call us to impurity but in holiness.

I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.

I lay flat on the ground before the LORD for forty days and nights, for he had said he would destroy you.

So also Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns, since they indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire in a way similar to these angels, are now displayed as an example by suffering the punishment of eternal fire.

So I turned and went down the mountain while it was blazing with fire; the two tablets of the covenant were in my hands.

in that he spends the rest of his time on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.For the time that has passed was sufficient for you to do what the non- Christians desire. You lived then in debauchery, evil desires, drunkenness, carousing, drinking bouts, and wanton idolatries.

But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”

But if you will not pay attention to this warning, I will weep alone because of your arrogant pride. I will weep bitterly and my eyes will overflow with tears because you, the LORD’s flock, will be carried into exile.”

Therefore show them openly before the churches the proof of your love and of our pride in you.

especially those who indulge their fleshly desires and who despise authority. Brazen and insolent, they are not afraid to insult the glorious ones,yet even angels, who are much more powerful, do not bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.But these men, like irrational animals– creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed– do not understand whom they are insulting, and consequently in their destruction they will be destroyed,suffering harm as the wages for their harmful ways. By considering it a pleasure to carouse in broad daylight, they are stains and blemishes, indulging in their deceitful pleasures when they feast together with you.Their eyes, full of adultery, never stop sinning; they entice unstable people. They have trained their hearts for greed, these cursed children!
