爾中誰畏耶和華、而聽其僕之聲乎、行於幽暗、不得光明者、宜恃耶和華名、賴其上帝、

摩西退、出邑、舉手以禱耶和華、雷雹即止、雨不復注、

我畢生頌美爾、奉爾名而舉手兮、

向爾舉手、中心望爾、如槁壤之望雨兮、

爾若秉心正直、向上帝舉手、

所羅門立於耶和華壇前、以色列會眾咸在、王乃張手向天、曰、以色列之上帝耶和華歟、在天在地、無神可比、爾僕克盡厥心、行於爾前、爾為之踐約施恩、爾許爾僕我父大衛之言應矣、爾口許之、而手成之、有如今日、以色列之上帝耶和華歟、爾許爾僕我父大衛曰、若爾子孫慎其道途、行於我前、克肖乎爾、則爾必不乏人、居以色列國位、今求踐爾所言、以色列之上帝歟、爾與爾僕我父大衛所言者、願爾成之、然上帝豈果居於地乎、天與天上之天、不足容爾、況我所建之室乎、惟求我之上帝耶和華、垂顧爾僕之禱告祈求、俯聽爾僕今在爾前之籲禱、願爾之目、晝夜垂顧此室、即爾所言寄名之所、俯聽爾僕向此所祈、爾僕與爾民以色列、向此祈禱時、求爾在天爾之居所垂聽、而加赦宥、人若獲罪於鄰、令其發誓、則至此室、在爾壇前發誓、求爾在天垂聽、訊鞫爾僕、惡者罪之、依其所行、報於其首、義者義之、如其義以賞之、爾民以色列因獲罪爾、敗於敵前、若轉歸爾、而認爾名、在此室禱告祈求於爾、願爾在天垂聽、赦爾民以色列之罪、導之歸爾所錫其列祖之地、民獲罪爾、致天閉塞不雨、遭爾罰時、若向此祈禱、而認爾名、改悔厥罪、求爾在天垂聽、赦宥爾僕及爾民以色列之罪、誨以當行之善道、降雨於爾地、即爾所錫爾民為業者、若斯土有饑饉疫癘、五穀枯稿霉爛、或有蝻蝗蚱蜢、或有仇敵犯境、圍其城邑、無論何災何疾、爾民以色列或一人、或眾人、自覺己心之殃、若向此室張手、無論何所禱、何所祈、願爾在天爾之居所垂聽、而加赦宥、爾知其心、循各人所行而報之、世人之心、惟爾知之、使其在爾錫我列祖之地、畢生寅畏爾、至於外族、不屬爾民以色列者、為爾之名而至、蓋彼必聞爾之大名、能手奮臂、自遠方來、向斯室祈禱、願爾在天爾之居所垂聽、依外族所祈者而行、使天下億兆、咸知爾名、而寅畏爾、如爾民以色列然、亦知我所建之室、以爾名稱之、如爾民奉爾所遣、無論何途、出與敵戰、向爾所簡之邑、及我為爾名所建之室、祈禱耶和華、願爾在天聽其禱告祈求、而保其義、夫人未有不干罪者、若爾民獲罪於爾、因爾震怒、付之於敵、虜至其地、或遠或近、如在虜至之地、思念改悔、懇求於爾曰、我儕犯罪、悖逆作惡、在敵人虜者之地、一心一意歸爾、向其故土、爾所錫其列祖者、與爾所簡之邑、及我為爾名所建之室、祈禱於爾、願爾在天爾之居所、聽其禱告祈求、而保其義、寬恕獲罪於爾之民、宥其對爾所干之咎、使於虜者之前、得其矜憫、彼為爾民爾業、昔爾導之出埃及、脫於鐵爐、願爾垂顧爾僕、及爾民以色列之祈禱、無論何時呼籲、求爾聽之、主耶和華歟、爾由億兆中、區別斯民、為爾之業、如爾導我列祖出埃及時、藉爾僕摩西所言、○
