Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites, who showed good understanding of the service of the Lord. For the seven days they ate their assigned portion and offered fellowship offerings and praised the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Hezekiah spoke words that gave hope to all the Levites. They understood how to serve the Lord well. For the seven days of the feast they ate the share given to them. They also sacrificed friendship offerings. They praised the Lord, the God of their people.

And Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who showed good skill in the service of the Lord. So they ate the food of the festival for seven days, sacrificing peace offerings and giving thanks to the Lord, the God of their fathers.

Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites regarding the skill they displayed as they served the Lord. The celebration continued for seven days. Peace offerings were sacrificed, and the people gave thanks to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

是日之時、四分之一立於其所、誦其上帝耶和華之律書、四分之一認罪、崇拜其上帝耶和華、

立軍長以理民、集之於城門之場、以言慰之曰、

今當向爾列祖之上帝耶和華認罪、行其所悅、自絕於斯土之民、與異族之女、

自首日至末日、以斯拉日誦上帝之律書、民眾守節七日、越至八日、循其常例、而集肅會、

蓋耶和華錫予智慧、知識通明、出於其口、為正直者蓄真智、為行端者之盾干、

眾乃攜耶和華律書、巡行猶大諸邑訓民、

我將誘掖之、導之於野、以善言慰之、

彼將以爾律例教雅各、以爾法律誨以色列、焚香於爾前、獻全牲燔祭於爾壇、

我誠以萬事為損、因識我主基督耶穌為更美、且為彼已損萬事、視為糞土、致可得乎基督、而恆在其中、

諭誨以色列眾之利未人、即區別為聖歸於耶和華者、曰、當以聖匱、置於以色列王、大衛子所羅門所建之室、不復肩負、宜奉事爾之上帝耶和華、服事其民以色列、

命爾以斯拉、憑爾上帝所賦之智、設立有司士師、以治河西之民、悉爾上帝律者、其未悉者、則訓迪之、

我言殊善、啟口皆正、爾其聽之、

見當時之祭司曰、我今敬告爾上帝耶和華、耶和華所誓許我祖、錫我之地、我已至之、祭司取筐於爾手、置爾上帝耶和華壇前、爾在爾上帝耶和華前必曰、我祖亞蘭人、乃瀕死者、往旅埃及、人數無多、而成大族、強盛繁衍、埃及人惡待我、儕而虐遇之、加以苦役、我籲我列祖之上帝耶和華、蒙其垂聽、鑒我所受之艱難、勞苦暴虐、耶和華以能手、奮臂、異蹟、奇事、大而可畏之事、導我出埃及、攜我至此、錫我流乳與蜜之地、耶和華歟、爾所賜我之地、其所產之初實、我攜之至、遂置於爾上帝耶和華前、而行崇拜、爾與利未人、及居爾中之賓旅、緣爾上帝耶和華賜爾暨家之福、而喜樂焉、○

以色列人無真神、無訓誨之祭司、亦無法律、為日已久、

耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅憫、亞谷、沙比太、何第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難、毘萊雅、與利未人、訓民明律、庶民立於其所、利未人朗誦上帝律書、解釋其義、俾民洞悉所誦者、

宜宣道、無論得時與否、必專務之、以恆忍訓誨、而質證、斥責、勸勉、

爾之上帝曰、爾其慰藉、慰藉我民、以善言慰耶路撒冷、告以彼之戰事已終、其罪已赦、因諸愆尤、倍受責罰於耶和華之手、○

永生也者、識爾為獨一之真上帝、與爾所遣之耶穌基督也、

蓋命光由暗而照之上帝、已照我心、俾知上帝榮之光、即顯於耶穌基督之面者也、○

以斯拉決志究察耶和華律、而遵行之、且以典章律例、訓誨於以色列中、○
