在彼食於爾上帝耶和華前、與爾眷屬、樂乎爾手所為、即爾上帝耶和華錫嘏之事、

是月之望、為除酵節、以奉事耶和華、當食無酵餅、歷至七日、

爾當盡淨舊酵、俾成新團、如無酵然、蓋我儕之逾越羔已見宰、即基督也、故當守節、不以舊酵、不以暴很惡慝之酵、乃以純淨誠實之無酵餅焉、○

約沙法既與民議、遂立人謳歌耶和華、衣聖服行於軍前曰、當稱謝耶和華、以其慈惠永存、

王使利未人執鈸、與琴及瑟、在耶和華室奏樂、循大衛與其先見迦得、及先知拿單所命、即耶和華藉諸先知所命、利未人執大衛之樂器而立、祭司亦執角而立、希西家命獻燔祭於壇、始獻燔祭、同時而詠頌美耶和華之歌、以角與以色列王大衛之樂器和之、

除酵日至、當宰逾越羔時也、

在耶路撒冷有大樂焉、自以色列王大衛子所羅門時以來、未有若此者也、

日一厥心恆在於殿、又在家擘餅、以欣以誠而食、

節期之間、爾與子女僕婢、暨居爾邑之利未人、以及賓旅孤寡、俱必喜樂、

當以角聲頌美之、以瑟與琴頌美之兮、播鼗舞蹈頌美之、以絲與竹頌美之兮、以音洪之鈸頌美之、以聲高之鈸頌美之兮、

宜恆樂於主、我復言之、爾其樂哉、

七月二十三日、王遣民眾、各歸其幕、因耶和華施恩於大衛、與所羅門、及其民以色列、皆中心歡悅焉、○
