然爾尚有善事在焉、即除境內之木偶、致志尋求上帝也、○

然爾於斯土毀偶像、誠心崇上帝、猶可為善。○

然王自國中除諸亞舍拉、盡心尋求天主、王此事猶可謂善、

There is, however, some good in you, for you have rid the land of the Asherah poles and have set your heart on seeking God.”

But there’s some good in you. You have removed all the poles in the land used to worship the female god named Asherah. And you have worshiped God with all your heart.”

Nevertheless, some good is found in you, for you destroyed the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek God.”

Even so, there is some good in you, for you have removed the Asherah poles throughout the land, and you have committed yourself to seeking God.”

However, some good is found in you, for you have eradicated the Asherah poles from the land and have determined in your heart to seek God.”

But there is some good in you, for you have removed the Asheroth from the land and you have set your heart to seek God.”

Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.”

王謙卑下來後，耶和華便不再向他發怒，沒有將他完全毀滅。況且，在猶大還有一些善事。

以斯拉定意研讀、遵行耶和華的律法，並在以色列教導律例和典章。

全以色列會為他哀悼，把他埋葬。耶羅波安家人中只有他將得到安葬，因為以色列的上帝耶和華在他身上看見了良善。

羅波安行為邪惡，因為他不專心尋求耶和華。

上帝啊，我心堅定，我心堅定，我要唱詩讚美你。

我也知道，在我的罪惡本性裡面毫無良善，我有行善的心願，卻沒有行善的力量。

耶和華與約沙法同在，因為他效法他祖先大衛起初所行的，沒有尋求巴力，只尋求他父親的上帝，遵行祂的誡命，沒有效法以色列人的行為。因此，耶和華鞏固他的王位，所有的猶大人都向他進貢，他極有財富和尊榮。他專心遵行耶和華的道，剷除猶大境內的邱壇和亞舍拉神像。
