All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

All the people of Judah were happy about the promise they had made. They turned to God with all their heart. When they did, they found him. So the Lord gave them peace and rest on every side.

我们所夸的是自己的良心，见证我们凭着神的圣洁和诚实；在世为人不靠人的聪明，乃靠神的恩惠，向你们更是这样。

这事办的甚速，希西家和众民都喜乐，是因神为众民所预备的。

耶何耶大与众民和王立约，都要作耶和华的民。于是众民都到巴力庙，拆毁了庙，打碎坛和像，又在坛前将巴力的祭司玛坦杀了。耶何耶大派官看守耶和华的殿，是在祭司利未人手下。这祭司利未人是大卫分派在耶和华殿中、照摩西律法上所写的，给耶和华献燔祭，又按大卫所定的例，欢乐歌唱；且设立守门的把守耶和华殿的各门，无论为何事，不洁净的人都不准进去。又率领百夫长和贵胄，与民间的官长，并国中的众民，请王从耶和华殿下来，由上门进入王宫，立王坐在国位上。国民都欢乐，合城都安静。众人已将亚他利雅用刀杀了。

我没有在隐密黑暗之地说话；我没有对雅各的后裔说：你们寻求我是徒然的。我耶和华所讲的是公义，所说的是正直。”

我正在两难之间，情愿离世与基督同在，因为这是好得无比的。

“他使人安静，谁能扰乱呢？他掩面，谁能见他呢？无论待一国或一人都是如此。

你和利未人，并在你们中间寄居的，要因耶和华你神所赐你和你家的一切福分欢乐。

耶和华啊，我们在你行审判的路上等候你；我们心里所羡慕的是你的名，就是你那可记念的名。

现在我心中有意与耶和华以色列的神立约，好使他的烈怒转离我们。

耶和华使以色列人安静，不与四围的一切仇敌争战，已经多日。约书亚年纪老迈，

这国攻击那国，这城攻击那城，互相破坏，因为神用各样灾难扰乱他们。

他出来迎接亚撒，对他说：“亚撒和犹大、便雅悯众人哪，要听我说：你们若顺从耶和华，耶和华必与你们同在；你们若寻求他，就必寻见；你们若离弃他，他必离弃你们。

省长尼希米和作祭司的文士以斯拉，并教训百姓的利未人，对众民说：“今日是耶和华你们神的圣日，不要悲哀哭泣。”这是因为众民听见律法书上的话都哭了；

她的道是安乐；她的路全是平安。

你们义人应当靠耶和华欢喜快乐；你们心里正直的人都当欢呼。

你公义的典章，我曾起誓遵守，我必按誓而行。

我以你的法度为永远的产业，因这是我心中所喜爱的。
