and Solomon and the whole assembly went to the high place at Gibeon, for God’s tent of meeting was there, which Moses the Lord’s servant had made in the wilderness.

Solomon and the whole community went to the high place at Gibeon. That’s because God’s tent of meeting was there. The Lord’ s servant Moses had made the tent in the desert.

And Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon, for the tent of meeting of God, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness, was there.

Then he led the entire assembly to the place of worship in Gibeon, for God’s Tabernacle was located there.( This was the Tabernacle that Moses, the Lord’s servant, had made in the wilderness.)

“要用十幅幔子造圣幕，这些幔子要用细麻线和蓝、紫、朱红三种颜色的毛线织成，还要用精致的手工绣上基路伯天使。每幅幔子的尺寸都一样，长十二米、宽两米。每五幅连在一起，形成两幅大幔子。要在每幅大幔子边缘钉上蓝色的扣环，每幅大幔子钉五十个，扣环要两两相对，再做五十个金钩，把两幅大幔子连在一起，成为圣幕。“要用山羊毛织十一幅幔子作圣幕的罩棚，每幅长十三米、宽两米。十一幅幔子的尺寸都要一样。然后，你们要把五幅连成一大幅，其余六幅连成一大幅，第六幅要在圣幕前叠起来。要在这两幅幔子的边缘各钉上五十个扣环，再做五十个铜钩，把这两幅大幔子扣在一起，成为一个完整的罩棚。铺罩棚所剩下来的半幅幔子要垂到圣幕后面。两旁余下的幔子可垂在圣幕的两边，每边长五十厘米，盖着圣幕。罩棚上面要盖一层染成红色的公羊皮，再盖一层海狗皮做顶盖。“要用皂荚木做支撑圣幕的木板，每块木板长四米，宽六十六厘米。每块木板要有两个接榫，好连接在一起。圣幕的所有木板都要这样。圣幕的南面要有二十块木板，在这些木板下面要造四十个带凹槽的银底座，每块木板下面两个，用来套在木板的两个接榫上。圣幕北面也要有二十块木板，这些木板下面也要装上四十个带凹槽的银底座，每块木板下面有两个银底座。圣幕后面，就是西面，要有六块木板。圣幕后面的两个拐角要各有两块木板，木板的下端连于底座，顶端用一个环固定。两个拐角都要这样做。这样，两端便共有八块木板，每块木板下面各有两个带凹槽的银底座，一共有十六个银底座。“要用皂荚木做横闩，圣幕左右两边及后面的墙板上要各有五根横闩，

“你要在一月一日支起圣幕，即会幕，

工人中的能工巧匠用十幅幔子做成了圣幕，幔子用细麻线和蓝色、紫色、朱红色的线织成，上面精工绣制了基路伯天使。

有一次，所罗门王上基遍献了一千头祭牲作燔祭，因为那里有最重要的丘坛。在基遍，耶和华晚上在梦中向所罗门显现，对他说：“你想要什么，只管向我求。”所罗门说：“你的仆人——我父大卫本着诚实、公义、正直的心在你面前行事，你就向他大施恩慈，并且一如既往地以厚恩待他，让他儿子今天继承他的王位。我的上帝耶和华啊，你让仆人继承我父亲大卫的王位，但仆人还年幼无知，不懂得如何治理国家。仆人住在你所拣选的子民中，这些子民多得不可胜数。求你赐我智慧治理你的子民，并能辨别是非；不然，我又怎能治理你这众多的子民呢？”主喜悦所罗门的祈求，对他说：“既然你不为自己求寿、求财富，也不求灭绝仇敌，只求有智慧治理我的子民，我必应允你，赐给你空前绝后的智慧和悟性。你没有求富贵和尊荣，但我会一并赐给你，使你有生之年在列王中无人能比。你若像你父亲大卫一样遵行我的道，遵守我的律例和诫命，我必使你长寿。”所罗门醒来，发现是在做梦。他回到耶路撒冷，站在耶和华的约柜前献上燔祭和平安祭，又宴请群臣。
