大卫王又对全体会众说：“我儿所罗门是上帝特别拣选的，但他还年轻，缺乏经验。建殿的工程浩大，因为这殿不是为人造的，乃是为耶和华上帝造的。

他们也在大卫王、撒督、亚希米勒、众祭司和利未人的族长面前抽签，不分长幼，正如他们的亲族亚伦的后代所做的一样。

对他们说：“你们是利未人的族长，你们和你们的族人都要洁净自己，好将以色列的上帝耶和华的约柜抬到我所预备的地方。
