處女豈忘其修飾乎、新婦豈忘其麗服乎、惟我民忘我、其日難計其日難計或作歷時已久矣、

耶戶至耶斯烈、耶洗別聞之、則傅粉梳髮、自窗而觀、

僕乃出金銀器皿與衣服給利百加、又以寶物饋其兄及母、

爾何為衣服憂慮乎、試觀野地之百合花、如何而長、不勞不紡、我告爾、即所羅門極榮華時、其服飾不及此花之一、

有婦相遇、妝飾如妓、心甚狡詐、

為己製華毯、所服者皆細麻與紫衣、

至第三日、以斯帖衣朝服、入王宮內院、至殿前而立、王在殿中坐於寶座、與殿門相對、

王女在內、備極榮美、所服之衣裳、悉為金繡、衣以錦繡、引至王前、陪伴之童女、亦隨從而至、

爾出、欲何觀耶、觀人衣美服乎、夫衣美服者、在王宮也、

日久頹毀之處、必復築之、自古荒蕪之所、必復建之、累代傾圮荒涼之邑、必復新之、

我洗爾以水、滌除爾血、沐爾以膏、衣爾以繡、以花皮花皮或作海龍皮又作貉皮作履納爾足、以白細麻布裹爾首、以絲披爾身、飾爾以美飾、以釧著於手、以金索垂於項、以鼻環置於鼻、耳環懸於耳、華冕戴於首、得飾以金銀、衣以白細麻與絲及錦繡、食以細麵與蜜及油、爾遂成極豔麗、堪居后位、主天主曰、我加爾華飾、全爾豔色、其聲名傳於列邦、惟爾自恃爾美、因爾聲名徧揚、遂徇欲行淫、無論何人經過、爾即放縱嗜慾、與之苟合、爾之身即歸於彼、爾取爾衣服、飾爾所造之邱壇、五色俱備、行淫其上、如此之事、疇昔未有、後亦無有、
