他們若這樣對我們說：「你們且止住，等我們到你們接觸」，那麼、我們就在我們的地方站住，不上他們那裏去。

他们若对我们说：‘你们站住，等我们到你们那里去’，我们就站住，不上他们那里去。

他们若对我们这么说：‘站住，等我们到你们那里去’，我们就站在原地，不上他们那里去；

他们若对我们这么说：‘站住，等我们到你们那里去’，我们就站在原地，不上他们那里去；

如果他们说，‘站住，等我们去你们那里！’我们就待在原地，不去他们那里。

如果他们对我们这样说：‘你们站住！等我们到你们那里去。’我们就站在原地，不上他们那里去。

如果他们对我们说：‘站住，等我们过到你们那里！’我们就留在原地，不上他们那里去。

If they say to us,‘ Wait there until we come to you,’ we will stay where we are and not go up to them.

Suppose they say to us,‘ Wait there until we come to you.’ Then we’ll stay where we are. We won’t go up to them.

If they say to us,‘ Wait until we come to you,’ then we will stand still in our place, and we will not go up to them.

If they say to us,‘ Stay where you are or we’ll kill you,’ then we will stop and not go up to them.

If they say,‘ Wait until we reach you,’ then we will stay where we are and not go up to them.

If they say to us,‘ Wait until we come to you’; then we will stand in our place and not go up to them.

If they say thus to us,‘ Wait until we come to you,’ then we will stand still in our place and not go up to them.

If they say thus unto us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them.

If they say,‘ Wait until we reach you,’ then we will stay where we are and not go up to them.

基甸對上帝說：『你如果照你所說的要藉着我的手來拯救以色列，那麼我就把一團未整理的羊毛安置在禾場上；如果單單羊毛上有露水，而遍地都是乾的，我就知道你要照你所說的藉着我的手來拯救以色列。』第二天基甸清早起來，果然這樣；他將羊毛擠一擠，就從羊毛中擰出露水來，擰了滿盆的水。基甸又對上帝說：『請不要向我發怒；我就只要對你再說一次，就只這一次；請讓我再把羊毛試試：但願單單羊毛是乾的，而遍地都有露水。』那一夜上帝也這樣行：單單在羊毛上是乾的，遍地都有露水。

看哪，我現在站在水泉旁邊，城內人的女子們正出來打水。我向哪一個少女說：「請放下你的水瓶來，給我水喝」；她若說：「請喝；我也要給你的駱駝喝」，願那少女就做你所審定給你僕人以撒的妻子；這樣、我便知道你施慈愛給我主人了。』
