如果你们敬畏耶和华，事奉祂，听从祂的吩咐，不违背祂的命令，你们和统治你们的王都愿意跟从祂，一切都会顺利。

你们若敬畏耶和华，侍奉他，听从他的话，不违背他的命令，你们和治理你们的王也都顺从耶和华你们的神就好了。

如爾畏耶和華、聽從其命、不背其道、則治爾之王、爰及爾曹、俱蒙爾上帝耶和華錫嘏。

如爾敬畏主、奉事主、聽主之言、不違主之命、則爾與治爾之王、必蒙主爾天主之引導、

If you fear the Lord and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the Lord your God— good!

But you must have respect for the Lord. You must serve him and obey him. You must not say no to his commands. Both you and the king who rules over you must obey the Lord your God. If you do, that’s good.

If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well.

“ Now if you fear and worship the Lord and listen to his voice, and if you do not rebel against the Lord’s commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize the Lord as your God.

If ye will fear Jehovah, and serve him, and hearken unto his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of Jehovah, and both ye and also the king that reigneth over you be followers of Jehovah your God, well:

“所以，你们要敬畏耶和华，诚心诚意地事奉祂，摒弃你们祖先在幼发拉底河那边和在埃及所拜的神明，专心事奉耶和华。

“你们若全心顺服你们的上帝耶和华，谨遵祂今天借我吩咐你们的一切诫命，祂必使你们超越天下万国。你们若听从你们的上帝耶和华的话，以下的福气必临到你们，追随你们。“无论你们住在城里还是乡村，都必蒙福。“你们必子孙昌盛，五谷丰登，牛羊成群。“你们的篮子和揉面盆都必蒙福。“你们必出入平安。“耶和华必使来犯之敌败在你们面前、溃不成军、四散逃命。“耶和华必使你们凡事蒙福、五谷满仓。你们的上帝耶和华必在祂赐给你们的土地上赐福你们。“你们若遵守你们上帝耶和华的诫命，遵行祂的旨意，祂必按自己的誓言使你们成为祂圣洁的子民。天下万民将看出你们是耶和华的子民，并惧怕你们。“在耶和华向你们祖先起誓要赐给你们的土地上，祂必使你们子孙昌盛、牛羊成群、五谷丰登。耶和华要为你们打开天上美好的仓库，使你们风调雨顺、凡事蒙福。你们必借贷给多国，却无需向别国借贷。你们若听从你们的上帝耶和华借我今天吩咐你们的诫命，谨慎遵行，毫不偏离，也不随从、供奉别的神明，祂必使你们做首不做尾，居上不居下。

如果你们背弃耶和华，去拜外族的神明，尽管祂曾经恩待你们，也必降祸给你们，毁灭你们。”

耶和华对摩西说：“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“在你们或寄居在你们中间的外族人中，如果有人把子女献给假神摩洛，必须处死他，当地的人要用石头打死他。我也必严惩那人，将他从民中铲除。因为他把子女献给摩洛，玷污我的圣所，亵渎我的圣名。如果那地方的人对此置之不理，没有处死那人，我必严惩那人一家，从民中铲除他和那些追随他与摩洛苟合的人。如果有人求问灵媒或巫师，与他们苟合，我必严惩，将他从民中铲除。你们要洁净自己，做圣洁的人，因为我是你们的上帝耶和华。你们要遵行我的律例。我是使你们圣洁的耶和华。“咒骂父母的，必被处死。他咒骂父母，必须承担自己的罪。如果有人与别人的妻子通奸，奸夫淫妇必须被处死。如果有人与父亲的妻妾同寝，就是羞辱他的父亲。要把二人处死，他们要承担自己的罪。如果有人与儿媳同寝，二人都必须被处死。他们乱伦，要承担自己的罪。如果男人与男人同寝，好像男人与女人同寝一样，他们的行为可憎，必须被处死。他们要承担自己的罪。

凡是恒心行善、寻求荣耀、尊贵和永恒福分的人，祂要把永生赐给他们；

要告诉义人：他们有福了，必得善报。

因此我就任凭他们顽固不化，为所欲为。但愿我的子民肯听从我，以色列人肯遵行我的道。那时，我必迅速制服他们的敌人，伸手攻击他们的仇敌。憎恶我的人要在我面前屈膝投降，永远沉沦。
