At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed:“ Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.

When it was time to offer the evening sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward. He prayed,“ Lord, you are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. Today let everyone know that you are God in Israel. Let them know I’m your servant. Let them know I’ve done all these things because you commanded me to.

And at the time of the offering of the oblation, Elijah the prophet came near and said,“ O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word.

自午後至獻素祭時、託神而言、仍無聲響、無應者、無顧者、

願爾在天爾之居所垂聽、依外族所祈者而行、使天下億兆、咸知爾名、而寅畏爾、如爾民以色列然、亦知我所建之室、以爾名稱之、

摩西曰、耶和華遣我行此、非由我意、爾可知焉、倘彼如常而終、所遇與眾無異、則知耶和華未嘗遣我、倘耶和華創行新事、使地張口、吞噬其眾、及凡所有、生墮陰府、則知其人藐視耶和華矣、

我之上帝耶和華歟、今求爾救我脫於其手、俾天下萬國、咸知惟爾耶和華為上帝、○

祈禱之際、獻晚祭時、我前於異象中、所見之加百列、疾飛詣我、

凡懍遵以色列上帝之言者、緣俘囚之咎、咸集就我、我愕然而坐、至獻夕祭時、獻夕祭之時、忍憂而起、衣袍俱裂、屈膝而跽、向我上帝耶和華舉手、

爾在異邦污我大名、我必使之成聖、我於爾前既顯為聖、異邦則知我乃耶和華、主耶和華言之矣、

米該雅曰、如爾安歸、則是耶和華未藉我而言、又曰、諸民、爾其聽之、○

俾我主耶穌基督之上帝、有榮之父、賜爾明智與啟示之靈、以識上帝、

晨獻其一、暮獻其一、晨獻羔、加細麵伊法十分之一、和擣油一欣四分之一、及酒一欣四分之一、以為灌祭、暮獻羔、如晨禮、亦獻素祭灌祭、以為耶和華馨香之火祭、

以利亞前謂民眾曰、爾持兩端、躊躇莫決、將至何時、如以耶和華為上帝、則從之、如以巴力為上帝、則從彼、民不答一詞、

耶和華之使者諭提斯比人以利亞曰、起迎撒瑪利亞王之使、謂之曰、以色列中豈無上帝、乃往詢以革倫神巴力西卜乎、

今日耶和華必付爾於我手、我必擊爾、斬爾首級、以非利士軍旅之屍、給於空中之鳥、野間之獸、使天下咸知以色列中有上帝、亦使此會咸知耶和華施行拯救、非以劍以槍、蓋戰事屬於耶和華、彼必付爾於我手、

祈上帝矜憫我、錫嘏我、以容光燭我兮、使爾道途、見知於寰宇、使爾拯救、見知於萬民兮、

曰、有人迎而告我曰、返見遣爾之王曰、耶和華云、以色列中豈無上帝、乃遣人詢以革倫神巴力西卜乎、故爾所登之牀、不得再下、必死矣、

俾知爾名耶和華者、在於寰宇、獨為至高兮、

我列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列之上帝、耶和華歟、願使爾名恆存此念、堅心於爾、

又曰、亦告以色列族曰、遣我就爾者為耶和華、乃爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、耶和華乃我恆久之名、歷世為誌、爾往集以色列長老、而告之曰、耶和華爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、顯見於我、曰、我臨涖爾、鑒爾於埃及所遇者、

願亞伯拉罕之上帝、拿鶴之上帝、及其祖之上帝、主裁於爾我間、雅各乃指其父以撒所畏者而誓、

自去日獻之祭、置殘賊可惡之物時、必歷一千二百九十日、

是夜耶和華顯見、諭之曰、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之上帝、勿懼、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必偕爾、錫爾以嘏、繁衍爾裔、

我知爾恆聽我、但我言此、乃為環立之眾、俾其信爾遣我也、

曰、我列祖之上帝耶和華歟、爾非天上上帝乎、爾非治萬民諸國乎、爾手有能有力、無人能禦爾也、我上帝歟、斯土居民、爾非逐於爾民以色列前、以此地錫予爾友亞伯拉罕之裔、至於永久乎、

我聞一聖者宣言、又有一聖者詢之曰、異象所示、論去日獻之祭、與行毀滅之罪、且付聖所與軍旅、而受足踐、其事延至何時、

彰我聖名於我民以色列中、俾我聖名不復受侮、列邦則知我乃耶和華、以色列之聖者、

遂禱曰、吾祖亞伯拉罕之上帝、吾父以撒之上帝耶和華歟、昔爾命我回故土、返戚屬、許待以善、

曰吾乃亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、是上帝非死者之上帝、乃生者之上帝也、

緣此、我屈膝於父前、

願我祈禱、陳於爾前、有若馨香、願我舉手、等於夕祭兮、

曰、我乃上帝、即爾父之上帝、爾往埃及、勿懼、在彼、我必使爾成為大國、
